Took my dog to the grooming salon for a bath and brush, he is a 9 month old Labrador so he can be a little hyper.. i am almost home and get a call stating they can not see him because upon looking he has a scab on his paw.. Well funny because i check him over before going anywhere and saw nothing and that was in their parking lot.. I go pick him up and to me it was obvious they did not want to mess with him because he started off hyper... In the past i have went to the Anderson location and had ZERO issues.. I get him home to look for this so called scab and what i do see left me speechless his nail was ripped out of one of his paws. it was new because he had dried blood and nothing i saw prior to check in. I will NOT return to this location, they are obviously not truthful and it was very obvious when i got there she did not want to be there..Had she even acknowledged my dog when we got there he would have calmed down he just wanted to say hi and you could see her annoyance. Again he is still very much a puppy... I should mention she said "well nothing happened here it looks like an old wound" in fact no wound where she said but on the same paw yes a nail freshly ripped out... beware of where you take your fur babies.. So we were obviously upset, as any normal customer would be, but the cherry on top was the fact that they REFUSED TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE and refused to work our dog into their schedule! Too bad so sad, it’s always the customers who have to suffer and be inconvenienced by a companies mistake!!! Not willing to work our dog in at all to fix their mistake! This was in March 2025 and I should have reviewed them then. So fast forward to Sept 2025, we are willing to give them another chance and they had the nerve to call and tell us his appointment was cancelled because of the way WE treated their staff??? These days it’s like big companies have absolutely NO customer service, no accountability for THEIR ERRORS, could Care LESS about any inconvenience to the customer! And on top of that get upset with the CUSTOMER when the customer is rightfully upset! If this is how they treat us, how are they treating our pets??? Read moreI called the petsmart in marion indiana and asked if they had small cans of authority cat food for ages 11+ yrs because they had 1 can a week ago and the truck came today. The cashier told me yes. I asked again if its for ages 11+ yrs old. She again said Yes. So it only took 5 mins to get there and I go get the cat food and there was no 11+ yrs can food on the shelf. I asked to see the manager. I explained to her that I was told there were soft food for 11+yr old cats. She went in the back to check. She comes back out with 2 cases of soft food for ages 7+. Insulted my intelligence trying to tell me its the same as the 11+ yrs soft food. I told her the food for older cats has more protein in it which my cat needed. So she says, none of the 11+ came on the truck. So I Told her I dont want those and I left. There was a spot on the shelf for the 11+ food. So I'll just order online. Petsmart needs to train their managers better. And not insult peoples...
