Two words: racial profiling. As a business, T.J. Maxx is a great business with tons of great products. T.J. Maxx as a business is one of my favorite stores. This store in particular is a newer, nicer, and cleaner store than most, and has a greater selection than most. I would like this store if it wasn't for the fact that LITERALLY every single time we have shopped here, several employees, including managers, pretty much stalked my biracial wife the entire time and in every part of the store. My wife is a very sweet and pretty innocent person who was quite offended at being followed the entire time in one of her favorite stores due to her skin color. My wife is a Christian and model citizen who works VERY hard for her money at a reputable job and does EXCELLENT in budgeting that money so that she can splurge comfortably. So stealing isn't even a thought! We are well dressed, well mannered people who have never given anyone at this store a reason to follow us and watch us over the aisles. We don't see anyone else (other than those of color) being stalked, and we don't see any questionable looking white people being stalked. So unless this store knows something the rest of us don't, apparently skin color must be the issue. It's also quite alarming that there are other reviews that state the same thing. We also complained to management who pretty much just gave us a half hearted apology then sent us on our way. News flash: white people steal too! So unless this issue is fixed, our business will...
Read moreThe customer service representative was very professional, respectful and polite. I was looking online for a pair of women's sneakers and I found 3 pairs that I liked. But when I got to the store, none were in stock!? Don't figure!! I was so disappointed! So I picked up a pair, that wasn't what I wanted but would do. After I paid for them, I walked out and remembered that Kohl's was right next door to T.J. Maxx, so I walked over there. And I found a pair of Fila's women's sneakers that fit very comfortable. So I returned the pair to T.J. Maxx, and bought the pair from Kohl's. And I saved some money. Sorry T.J. Maxx. But you shouldn't advertise products online that you don't have in stock or on your shelves....
Read moreI dont like to give such low reviews but this store is really awful. The workers have no sense of pride in doing their job at all. The manager Jason makes excuses instead of telling the workers to just simply do their job. I wish I would have recorded how long the girl stood at the register piddling around and moving stuff from one spot to another instead of checking people out. Its sad how customer service is being pushed out at some brick and mortar stores....
