The M.A.C. — Local services in Marion

I use the Express location in Marion because it I right next to my work, and only a 5 min drive from my home. It's not a very big gym, but thats fine. There's plenty of room and workout equipment for my needs. Showers and lockers of course(you have to buy your own lock).

The only down side I'd say is their internet. The connection sucks and I'm always having to just run off my data. Some of the treadmills have thier own touch screen with apps, like YouTube and Facebook, but again impossible to watch anything on them. Only reason I'm giving...

This is the worst of the MAC locations I have been to. Machines are old and rusty, there are bugs everywhere, music is WAY too loud, at least one TV is not working at all times, and people leave the spray bottles all over the place. Shared towels to wipe down machines too, which means your hands smell like someone else’s sweat until you wash them.

Update- they are looking in on the issues I mentioned. I like this gym, so hopefully they make some...

High membership fees, monthly, plus an annual fee... for what? The TV's on machines never work right (audio jacks), and when you put in a request to fix, they go ignored. All the while, the owner is driving around in a new Cadillac written off as business expense. Then, after 6 years of membership dues paid in full, they need 30 more days to cancel.
