ALDI — Local services in Marion

Aldis used to be about providing decent food and products for low prices. They used to be about serving the poor.

Now, all they care about is making money. You can't even buy a gallon of skim milk there anymore, because they don't carry it. Half the stuff they have on their shelves is missing, while the other half is way over-priced. As far as I'm concerned, it can sit there and rot.

A while ago, I emailed corporate about some low quality food I purchased as well as complaining about their lack of selection and low quality food. Corporate actually called me and said the franchise owner would handle my concerns and would contact me. I never heard from that person.

I enjoy the perfect size of Aldi. I love the variety of food choices they have. They have a little bit of everything and the prices fit in our food budget. The workers there are fast and efficient and VERY hard working. Shopping there for me is very satisfying 😊 the smallness of it allows for personal relationships to develop. I think the only thing that is hard at times is the amount of times you have to deal with the groceries. Meaning put them in the cart and on to the belt and then again in boxes or bags and then in the car and out of the car, out of the car into the house. ECT. LoL 😃I guess that's life. I placed an order through Instacart and after they didn't deliver, I went to Marion store and ask to speak to a Manager. I spoke with Mary and she said instacart has nothing to do with them. I was just trying to find out where my order was and she couldn't care less if I bought products from their store. Very poor customer service! I will never order from Instacart again nor will I shop at that store. Buyer beware of Instacart!
