I have visited this location a few different times and sadly enough, each time has been pretty disappointing in terms of service. In hopes each visit is different, this visit was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. I tried to contact the store before posting this public, no answer. Tried contacting through the website, each time I submitted the feedback I kept getting an error. Today 11/9/2020 at 11:30am the staff in there were not friendly at all, they barely made eye contact, mumbled a lot, threw (aggressively not like a quick toss) the spoons back in the bins, and definitely made it seem like they did not want to be there. To top that off, the chicken was cold, the veggies were cold. I asked for just a little jalapeno- however she ended up pouring a big spoonful on it, she didn’t care to listen to me say I wanted it corrected. She just handed it off to the guy ready to check me out. When it came to check out, the guy never told me my total. He looked up and said “that all” and then tossed the burrito across the counter, slid my card. No thank you, didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt, and didn’t look thrilled at all. The other times I went, very similar interactions. The food being cold this time around pretty much did it for me. I tried placing this order online however when doing so, the rice options doesn’t give you any other option other than “no rice”. You can move on until you select that. What do you do if you want rice? Also, I’m not too sure if I would trust to place a to-go-order. I really am excited for the growth and expansion in this area- and typically Pancheros has really good food at other locations. I just hope the customer service can improve and also making sure the food is...
Read moreToday was the worst experience I have ever had at a Pancheros. I've eaten at Pancheros literally Hundreds and hundreds of times. Today my burrito was made painfully slow and it exploded inside the foil wrapper before I even took a single bite. I rewrapped it as best as I could but half way through I surrendered and got a fork, the fork failed and I asked for another tortilla... That saved it. One of the things I love the most about Pancheros burritos is that they do NOT fall apart... To the very last bite they hold together and are delicious, not today... It was still delicious but the construction failed badly.
I don't have the receipt for my burritos but I did scan it for the points. I don't want any refund or anything like that. I just wanted you to know that that site (6095 Carlson Way Suite A, Marion, IA 52302) may not be living up to the expectations of other stores. Maybe (I hope) I just hit them...
Read moreMarion - I’ve always wanted to try this place, sadly it was disappointing. Not very clean, way smaller serving than even Moe’s (bowl, chips, queso). Service was nonexistent. I stood at the counter for several minutes as two employees never spoke or welcomed a customer (they were making to go orders), portion size was small, however price point was high especially for the small servings. I don’t recall even a thank you after paying. I ate inside and the table had dried queso on it, floor needed swept. The food was bland, the guacamole had large chunks of avocado (they didn’t even crush it - shows another lack of interest by the staff). Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I’ll be going to Moe’s (over by Target) or Taco Depot (it’s coming to Marion) next time instead. This was thoroughly disappointing. Stop at Walmart, get a microwave...
