Marlboro House of Pizza — Restaurant in Marlborough

this is one of the go-to places in Marlborough Massachusetts for pizza subs lunch and dinner entrees and possibly a few desserts although I'm not sure about that. I myself have gone there for chicken salad subs which always come out super fresh super crisp and delicious! That's why I'm giving this place a five for food. (if I'm being completely transparent I haven't even had their pizza yet) but the place is like a beehive of activity all day people are going in and out picking up their call and orders or just coming to order right off of the street. and seeing is how there are numerous pizza joints around the area The competition is fierce so this place must be good if it's still in business and still getting that much for traffic. I highly suggest you go by and check out their menu and grab yourself a bite to eat! The two gentlemen that I've spoken to on those few occasions where I've ordered from the spot have been very warm very welcoming and the type of people that you want to talk to when you're asking them to make food for you!!😉 I put three stars for the atmosphere because it's pretty bleak inside and for some reason they always have all of the tables even the high tops pushed way over to the side of the walls almost as if they're going to have a dance or something in the middle of the space but I never see any action going on just the tables and chairs pushed all the way to the side of the walls as if they're about to close up or mop.. I don't know why they do this and I'm not even complaining but I am saying it's kind of an in and out joint if you know...

I truly can't say enough great things about this place. I order 2-3 times a week here on my lunch break for work and truly their salads are AMAZING. I usually get the garden salad with crispy chicken and the size of the salad is amazing for the price- and the ingredients are always so fresh. I've also tried the pizza, calzones, and pasta and each item is truly amazing and made with love!

I also have to add that the service is incredible. Everytime I walk in to pick up my order, I am greeted with a warm welcome and the staff are all genuinely nice hearted people who treat everyone with respect. By the second time I made a call-in order, the owner remembered my order from a couple days prior and asked if I wanted the specific details that I ordered in the past. It was a very nice gesture and really showed how much they care about their customers.

This used to be my favorite place to order from, but now not so much! The last few times we ordered from here things were wrong with our order and we weren't even refunded! This was my last time ordering from here and my son ordered a Sausage Alfredo and feta cheese pizza and it came doused in onions and tomatoes. He has a tomato allergy, hence the Alfredo sauce on the pizza. My daughter ordered a small cheese pizza and that came looking like it had sat there all day! It was disgusting looking! The mozzarella sticks were under cooked also. Then when I went to call about this order no one answered. It was 10pm but if I was still allowed to order that close to closing time the food still should've been prepared like they would cook food during their busiest times.
