Ulta Beauty — Local services in Marquette Township

I was extremely disappointed with my ulta experience here. They were out of an item so they ordered it for me in store, however they typed in my address wrong, didn’t ask me if it was correct before submitting it and before applying my payment. I understand mistakes happen, but they made no effort on their part to fix this. I had to call ulta corporate on my own and then my bank after the fact and fix their mistake. I walked out of their in tears and they had no compassion or sensitivity for an issue that arose because of them, and made no effort in trying to correct it. I felt screwed over and very alone. They weren’t even apologetic. Now I have two holds on my card because I had to cancel my order that they put in the wrong address on. Extremely unprofessional and disppointing for a store I used to love so much. I will likely not be shopping here in the future. Again I understand mistakes happen, but there was no sympathy on their part regarding my situation after this was completely caused by them. While in the area for a few days, I decided that I would check around and see if I could get a spiral perm done. I've been needing to get it done for quite some time now but... Work life has been crazy and months just keep going. I checked multiple reviews for different salons and many do not provide perm services. I wasn't holding my breath to get an appointment. Perms are rather time consuming.. However, a woman from a salon recommended Abby from Ulta Beauty. Low and behold, last day in town and with astounding luck, Abby became available and I was able to get my spiral perm and haircut done!! Yay!! Abby is very fast must say and her work is truly astonishing!! She's very sociable, personable, friendly, outgoing, and has a great personality. I walked away feeling very impressed by her and the beautiful art she created with my hair! Very helpful people that work there! You should download Yukka it will tell you what is the better product. It's a great app! And that is a wonderful store especially if you have the app to find out what it has in the product and then they give you a suggested that would be better for you. Their scale goes from 0 to 100 and I bought things that were zero that I thought they had a good brand name but that doesn't matter it's what they're putting in it is terrible.
