T.J. Maxx — Local services in Marquette Township

Normally I have a pretty good experience here at my local TJ, but today was BY FAR THE WORST. One of the employees, never caught her name (her badge wasn’t visible, which I don’t really care because I know that’s something you can’t help at times) she was just rude with her approach. I understand that during this time there are certain protocols that the employees have to go through but being rude IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I also understand that customers can be difficult, I myself deal with the complicated ones as well. But you as the employee should know better! I am by far disappointed with that interaction. Everyone else in the store was WONDERFUL and nice and very chill about it, but whoever the Asian, short, dark haired girl was, that had on the dark green blouse. Unacceptable. Her attitude, her tone of voice.

I’m sorry for writing such a lengthy review, but I'm not happy with that interaction never EVER have I had someone be so rude to me ever. Doesn’t even apologize for being rude and runs to hide in the back to avoid me in the store. How CHILDISH. You are a young adult acting like a child. Please act your age and please do your job better.

Marquette, MI location: my rating would have been higher because overall, the store was clean and well organized. There were unique items and some great deals. The restroom was another story. It had not been cleaned in awhile and was unhygienic to say the least. Then, when I got ready to pay, my debit card was declined. The cashier said something about it happening all the time to people vacationing like myself. I talked to my bank and they saw it was declined because I didn't use my PIN out of state. I bought these identical suitcases at the Marquette TJMaxx. Upon purchasing, I asked to be given the clearance price on both. As you can see in the photo, the Samsonite tag clearly states they have the same name and model number. The manager at the store was very rude, insisting that they were different styles. But, Only the tj maxx tags show different item numbers. Kind of disappointing that tj maxx can assign the same suitcase two different item numbers then charge more for one. Not to mention the attitude on the employee. I bought them anyway, because we aren’t left with a lot of choices in the UP, but it wasn’t the...
