Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Marshall Township

I received a gift card for DQ from my school in Kalamazoo. I live in Marshall. While out and about I decided to use my gift card. I pulled into the drive and called in. I was in no mood to find out that they didn't participate. Turns out they did. The person who answered the phone and the older lady who took my order were nice. My order came up but I had my back to the employee when she came around the counter. I think that she was still in training. I was out the door and realized looking at my receipt that I was missing an item. The whole experience with this employee was off and made me suspicious. She seemed to realize as I returned that the buster bar in her hand was mine. She hands it to me. I looked at it and asked for a top and eventually had to ask for a drink carrier. I hate when it seems to me to be obvious that I would need a top for the treat and a carrier for the additional drink. Smdh. This was my first visit. I live here in Marshall and I am not sure that I would make another visit, or recommend it to my friends. I wouldn't want my recommendations...

Marshall MI.....Ordered the $7 meal. Cheeseburger with just ketchup. Also ordered cheese curds and a blizzard. First off they gave the sundae without a lid. Then they took it upon themselves to put the cheese curds with the meal and didn't give any fries. Even though that is not what I ordered. Wanted me to purchase fries on their mistake. Got 15 mins away and noticed their were pickles on burger. They just wanted to have us pick them off (manager said to do that)....umm no. Cannot even stand pickle juice or the smell of them.on a burger! All in all this store was not very concerned that they had 2 complaints on the same order. Told manager to have the employees be more trained on their job. If they don't under the order ask the person placing the order. Do not take it upon yourself to alter the order....

I have been to this new location twice now the first time was very good everything was fresh and I received everything I ordered. This second time wasn't as good of a experience I got the food I ordered but didn't get the sauces that I paid for I paid extra because I wanted extra sauces but I didn't receive any and the food was cold it tasted as if they made it and it was sitting for a while. Although it was not the correct temperature it still tasted great and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly I hope next time they move slightly slower I would rather wait 10 minutes for good fresh food and wait 10 minutes to make sure I get everything I ordered I don't mind waiting for good food. Sorry for this review and I apologize about the 3 stars this last experience just wasn't as great...
