Cosi Bella spa & Salon — Local services in Martinez

I recently moved to the area and thought I would try to find a salon locally. I found a Groupon that included a cut, color, deep condition and blow out. I called the salon first to make sure they had an apt for me and the person told me not to buy the Groupon and to just go through them directly. Not a big deal. I show up for my apt and the girl is running a little late (still, not a big deal). Then she finishes and tells me that she hasn't eaten and if I would mind if she took her lunch (ok, a little weird). Of course I told her it was fine. I'm finally in the chair but it's now 30+ min late. She ran out of time to do my deep condition and blow out so I left there with wet hair and headed to dinner. She kept saying that I should have known how long I needed but I would have left there on time IF she had started me on time. She told me to contact her and I could come back for the deep condition and blowout and she wouldn't charge me. So, I contact her after to schedule it and she tells me she's booked for a month! WHAT??!! You started late, couldn't finish the service that I paid for and now I can't come back for a month for just a deep condition and blowout?! I responded that I guess I would have to wait a month and I never heard back from her again. I cannot speak for all the stylist at this salon but the experience I had was beyond...

I’ve been trying to get an appointment at this salon since August with no luck. My appointment request was pending for over a month before it was confirmed 1 day before. I assumed it wasn’t accepted and had made an appointment and gotten service elsewhere. You’re unable to cancel online and have to call, but no one picked up the 2 times I called. So I rescheduled for November.

One hour before my appointment the stylist texts to say she’s running “a little behind schedule” and asks if I can come in 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time. I had other plans that day and couldn’t move them with such late notice. Also “a little behind” to me is 15 minutes maybe 30. Not an hour.

I asked to reschedule, and she agreed that would be best. She gave me a day and I gave her 2 times I was available but it’s been over 48 hours and she has yet to get back to me to confirm a time.

I understand things happen, but unfortunately I won’t be visiting this salon due to the unorganized scheduling and poor time management.

It makes me sad to write this as I’ve heard nothing but good things about the stylists and services at this salon. I hope this was just a fluke with one stylist and that you have a better experience with...

I went to Cosi Bella Salon for an appointment with Hypnotherapist Luana Matthews from Limitless Possibilities. Cosi Bella Salon is well located in Martinez with easy access to a public parking lot across the street. It is a very welcoming space with lots of good vibes. It was a small and intimate group of ladies who wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day on a positive note. We love others when we learn to love ourselves, right? As usual, Luana conducted an hour-long meditation session and guided us with so much love and care. Luana quickly has the power to put me at ease with her tender voice. It was a powerful and healing experience which left me with a calm and open heart to enjoy this beautiful day of love and friendship. I highly recommend that you participate in her next group session where you can experience hypnotherapy before you dive into your own...
