I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Uptown Bellas Salon, a stark contrast to the exceptional service I initially received. My first balayage with Julie was wonderful back in March. The blend of platinum blonde with my natural dirty blonde was stunning. However, my satisfaction quickly turned to frustration when my husband, who is 6'3", noticed a missing patch on the back of my head a week later on his next day off, on a date night...if it allowed me to upload a photo I would. Julie knows.
Upon reaching out to Julie for a correction, I was informed that I would have to pay for the touch-up. This was surprising and disappointing, as such small fixes are typically complimentary to ensure customer satisfaction. Reluctantly, I decided to wait until my next appointment and just dealing with the patch avoiding unnecessary additional costs.
Four months later, with my roots grown out and eager for another balayage and trim I called to schedule an appointment. Initially, I was booked with Haley for Saturday 7/13 However, the salon called explaining that Haley would not be available and apologizing for the confusion. Julie, on the phone mentioned she would try to schedule me with Krista and promised a follow-up call, which I never received.
After four days of no communication, today i finally got through to the salon and spoke with Krista. She seemed unaware of my previous conversations and attempted to book me for the first week of August with her then Shockingly, she informed me that the system indicated I was no longer a client, with no explanation provided. She assured me that the manager, Melissa, would reach out to me shortly.
The lack of follow-through and communication is unprofessional and disappointing. It is baffling and hurtful to be removed from their system without cause, especially after being a paying, tipping client who has communicated.
This experience leaves me feeling dismissed, unsatisfied, and undervalued as a client. Such treatment is contrary to the high standards I have come to expect from Aveda salons, where I have been a loyal customer for over ten years all over the worls.. Uptown Bella's Salon's handling of this situation is not reflective of the Aveda way.

I have never once spoken to you or met you. There were indeed instances where unforeseen emergencies, including a vehicle emergency and hospitalization due to an acute kidney infection, necessitated rescheduling. Julie was understanding of these life circumstances, and we agreed that upfront payment for subsequent appointments was fair, which I promptly adhered to.
Regarding my initial balayage, I genuinely loved the results and yes i did make a video. I am a tiktok content creator. It was only the following week later, during a date night with my husband, that he noticed the patch at the back of my head, which I promptly communicated to Julie with accompanying photos

Despite being initially scheduled with Haley tomorrow on my birthday...I received a last-minute cancellation and subsequent difficulty reaching anyone until Krista answered today informing me I was no longer in your system without explanation, after attempts to schedule me with her... Furthermore, I must emphasize that despite assurances of a return call today, I received no such communication from you until after posting my negative review on Google. This disparity in response times only further compounds my dissatisfaction with the level of customer service provided. This lack of communication left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a client.
