Aw man. What can I say that people haven't already said? This man opened his store back up when I got there and he had closed after he was already in his car and actually reopened and fixed my Xbox Series X's messed up HDMI port (despite my protest and telling him to go home and enjoy his weekend! Also, don't expect him to always do this, even though I think he would). I was rushing all over town trying to get this thing fixed and I think I must've called every single listing from Google in Charlotte and then I got to Reaper Electronics and I specifically see the Xbox Series X HDMI port repair, but I saw that all over Google and everyone said they'd have to order it and what not. Even Best Buy. How do you not have HDMI ports for the Series X??? It's been out since 2020. Anyways, I call Justin at Reaper Electronics desperately (literally was the LAST place I was going to call and then give up as the next result was over 125 miles away) and he's just like, "oh yeah. I can fix the Xbox Series X HDMI port." I was kinda shocked and was like, "you mean, like today? Like I can just come in and you'll fix the HDMI port on my Xbox Series X?" (I needed to make sure he knew it was the HDMI port for the Series X because I wouldn't have ever expected him to just have it and be able to fix it). Justin was like, "Yup. I've gotcha. Just be here before _." It was kind of my fault because I got there like 5 minutes after he said, so it was incredibly gracious of him to do it and he was very warm and friendly. He seems like a really solid and nice and respectable man. I believe he said he served in the Navy (edited). Heck yeah! That's who I want defending the country! Keep up the good work Justin! Great Customer Service, Called Ahead To Inquire About A HDMI Problem With My PS5, And Schedule A Time To Bring It On In, Guy Informed Me To Bring It On In At My Convenience, And That It Would Take Him Anywhere From 30/45mins, So I Brought It On In, And Just Like He Said 💥 🤯 🧙🏻‍♂️ He Was Done In 30mins. Flat. Really Appreciate The Service Provided, Brought It Home, Plugged It Up, Presto 🪄 Working Like It Was Never Messed Up 🤷🏿‍♂️ All That To Say: The Guy There At "Reapers Electronics" Really Knows His Stuff When It Comes To Them HDMI Ports Being Fixed, That's All I Can Speak 🗣️ On Because That's All I Had Done ✔️ But If I Had Any Other Problems With A Gaming System, I Wouldn't Hesitate To Give Him A Holla, Because He Did Exactly What He Said He Would, And In The Amount Of Time He Said He Would Also. While it's nice to find someone willing to fix your systems when other places turn you away it's good customer service that is still required. I took my mentee's PS4 to this place back in January and haven't received a single phone call or email about its status. Calling and leaving voicemails doesn't seem to do much good. While the execution of the repair may or may not be good, its simply not professional to hold onto someone else's property and not provide them updates. I was doing this repair as a gift for my mentee working hard in school...now it looks like I just gave his system away.
