First time there. I went for a band that was playing. I found this park extremely nice. I was particularly impressed with the Veterans Memorial. I was also impressed with the sense of a safe environment. It was refreshing to watch small children run around playing. It reminded me of the world I grew up with and later raised my own children in. There was several food trucks with a variety different foods to choose from. The town of Mathews has done an excellent job with this park. It gives not only the citizens of Mathews but outsiders like myself the opportunity to enjoy an evening. The only cost to you is just being friendly and courteous to the people around you. I look forward to returning.

Very nice stage, good sound, great venue for outdoor theater. We need more outdoor theater in Stumptown Park! Musicals would be better than plays because the frogs are loud and some of the ambient noise from planes and trains and automobiles can obscure the sound. If people were allowed to sit closer on temporary bleachers that might resolve the problem.

Went to Matthews Alive to volunteer. The music was great, the atmosphere was energetic. I just suggest they provide water for volunteers and there needs to be access to handicap parking. It was a very long walk to the festival from where we had to park. It was hot today! Otherwise, the park is nice. We enjoyed giving back.

This review is for the Beach Fest concert held at Stump Town park. So I will attempt to separate the two entities in my review. The park is nice and a real asset for Matthews. Parking will be a challenge ... but we found a spot at the post office which was about a quarter mile away. The rest rooms were handy and clean.

The concert. Our group really enjoyed The Entertainers. They were very congenial; had a good sound; and most importantly ... did not play load enough to make us uncomfortable. Now for the Tams. They were very proud of themselves, although I don't know why. Their volume level was so high that we became very uncomfortable were just about to leave when it started to rain. THANK YOU LORD. So ... we had to leave and get out of the rain. But the rain was better than the Tams. I will never attend another concert that includes the Tams. They are only interested in...

My family went to the Halloween festival this year. I truly appreciate all the effort that went into putting this together for the community, our grandson loved the bounce house. However, I feel that there could have been a bit more activities added for the children. The lines were much too long for little ones patience and attention spans, and there was not enough candy given out all in all. Maybe there could be tables set up solely for the purpose of giving out candy without an activity required, surely this would speed up the long lines. Then the children could rotate between activities and...
