I think the proper rating is a solid 2.5 stars.
The crepes were quite delicious, decent presentation and fresh ingredients. Their hot drink specialty truffle coffee was good too.
Why bad rating?: -First, the layout. Its a bit counterintuitive. I walk in with my brother and we could not tell where to place the order. I stop by a register located at the end of the restaurant but no one was there for a bit. We were not greeted, so I go ahead and ask some of the staff, I guess they couldnt hear me, etc... when I finally get someone's attention, not even eye contact and points me to where to place the order. Not too friendly. Would be insignificant otherwise, but piled on to the rest of the experience. Easy solution, place a sign hanging from the ceiling.
-Second: the pricing. May be the accountant in me, but I quickly did the math in my head and noted the receipt was much more expensive and not itemized. I broke it down. There is a 1.50$ charge for using a credit card (understandable, but I typically am advised when this is the case. Had I known, I would have used cash instead). There is a 3 dollar ghost charge that I cant figure out. And lastly, the tip was calculated on the gross pricing (order + ghost charge + taxes + credit card fee) while it should be calculated based on the order price. Had I known, I wouldnt have given a 25% tip but a 15% or 20%.
-Then the wait. It was over 25+ minutes for 2 crepes. I had the Chesesteak and my brother had the Royal Trinity. I understand fresh food needs to be cooked, but I think almost 30 minutes, when there were no orders ahead of me nor it was busy its overkill. At the very least, advise me how long it will take.
-Finally, the staff brings the food to our table, but no silverware nor napkins (not very friendly either but w.e). I have to go around the counter, one foot in the "employees" area and reach to grab silverware and napkins as it wasnt available any where else.
I would like to try the crepes again, they were delicious. But I dont know if I would...
Read moreI have been a couple times because I didn’t want to leave a review based off of one experience. My first visit I ordered gluten free blt crepe but I didn’t read the menu thoroughly and the crepe was made with cheese. I mentioned it and one lady that delivers the food to the table said normally they would charge for a mistake but it was my first time so they would make another one without charging me. We thanked her and apologized. But then the owner came to the table pointing out that it was my fault and the menu says cheese. She was making us uncomfortable so my husband said fine we will just pay for another one. With which she responded ok thank you because it was your fault. Now I have never gone to a restaurant and had to pay for two meals when a mistake was made but ok I’ll own my mistake assuming a blt wouldn’t have cheese. Well we finally decided to come again. I again ordered the blt but with no cheese I even read it multiple times to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Well to my surprise my blt came with egg on it. I hate eggs. I said something to my husband and he got up read the menu and nowhere did it mention the blt having egg. I wanted to bring it to the owners attention but it’s not worth it. She’s rude, and makes scenes. I ate the crepe which was nasty and the blt “bacon, lettuce, tomato” crepe had maybe 1 tablespoon of bacon bits on it. I basically had a lettuce and mayonnaise crepe. It’s all over priced for how much she has her staff under fill the crepes. Won’t be getting our business again. We will definitely be sure to warn everyone before they go. The only positive was the dessert crepe. But I can make crepes at home better than the ones we have received at...
Read moreMy third time visiting this location and DELICIOUS every single time! This time came on a Sunday around 12pm and was surpringly not full. No line to order and plenty of table options to choose from. This place is a bit small on the inside. Does have a few tables to choose from but all super close to one another but it's no biggie. They do have a few outside tables on their patio. The owner is always super friendly, pleasant and appreciative that you have decided to dine into her restaurant. I ordered the Chipotle chicken crepe with a Cortado and OMG *Chefs Kiss" it was definitely the right brunch option for me and very flavorful. Im definitely ordering this again whenever I decide to go back there and eat. The cortado is strong just how I like it. I added some vanilla to it and it was not overly sweet at all. They have a variety of sweet crepes , lunch and brunch crepes to choose from. The crepes are huge and will definitely fill you up. Definitely recommend you trying this spot out if you're ever...
