Remembering how this location was compared to how it is now.... I don't go there. I LOVED going and pouring in a lot of profits for all the stores in the "mall" and other locations back in the fall but even that has fizzled out for the economy of Cross County Mall.
Discouraged from shopping there. It's pretty barren as it's been for years now. Sadly, I give it only one star. It's not a place I frequent, that's for sure. I can find the same things elsewhere, and do so. If you've been to the mall many years back, every storefront was filled with the most amazing places to explore. That option went to the wayside. Unfortunately, I had to update my rating from a 2 to a 1 based on experiences and much much lack of experienced places in the "mall." I REALLY miss it the way it was. It was a depressing mall to visit so I drive on past it. That's a heads up to others who appreciate that not everyone is the same. They have lost what they could have been making for profit in the near future if the narrow mindsets hasn't been so judgemental about others they know nothing about. Judgment is against their beliefs - it's in their most cherished book.....
It's simply a waste of time to go there. It's sad how much it has been run into the ground. If you were around it in the '80s and '90s, you know what I'm seeing. Just no. Still a lot of empty store fronts and the other anchor store on the opposite side of the "mall." More stores are closing. Too heartbreaking to see. I put my "blinders" on whenever I...
Read moreThis place has deteriorated from when I was a child. There is very little shops in the mall. A few are still there that have been there for a while but stores are just coming and going. I've watched 5-6 stores go in the last 10-15years. Its really sad. Rural king is now a big thing at the mall and I don't think I'm the only one who would say that it's a horrible place to be located. It was alot better when it was outside of town and the parking lot was more accessible. I go to the mall for just a couple stores and that's it. If those stores weren't located there, I wouldn't go. A couple of the stores are just located at the mall. You can't use the mall doors to access these buildings. Its just sad to see so many stores leave and be shut down. And now there's more emptiness than there are stores. At least it feels...
Read moreIt used to be like a real mall, full of all kinds of department stores, but over the years as businesses that had been mainstays either moved out to house themselves in their own standalone building, or went out of business, or for whatever other reason, spaces that were once reasonably bustling were reduced to sad, dark, shuttered shells over their former selves. Now, however, there has been a beginning spark of rejuvenation to this sad place as a new semi-national restaurant has been opened. If this restaurant is a success, there might be hope that one day the mall will return to its former bustling glory, where every space is again occupied with a department store or even a brave mom and pop style startup outlet looking to serve the...
