Family Life Center — Local services in Maui

DISPLACED from a HOME? Like any others a rental-lease agreement will end at some point. Twice almost out of hope due to dislodgment I was desperate of where I will find a place to shelter my family. First time around was really stressful as I do not know of any place that I could get help from, FLC was the place that got me the help I and my family needed, services fabulous, learned a lot through their courses three (sessions). Second time, was very reluctant to go back to FLC. At Family Life Center in Kahului Staffs from the front person, to my assigned case worker, along with the person that took the extend to come out to our new home and expedite the process were beyond measurable services. They are friendly, authentic and straight forward. Their Office spaces are easily navigable. Most importantly with the good heart of my case worker she went beyond all else to handle the complicated part of talking to the Property Manager on our behalves, even with unexpected and unprecedented circumstances that we face. My Family especially I will forever cherish these gratifications. It is beyond and above anywhere I have experienced. Processes were not complicated, as anyone would imagine or experience. These people are whole hardheartedly friendly, the ALOHA spirit that I felt is beyond measurable. Their processes were authentic, un-stressful, and fast even when you do not have all the important supporting documents the will gladly advise you. I 100 percent, enthusiastically recommend FAMILY LIFE CENTER to anyone, family that struggles through hard times due to dislodgment to get to FAMILY LIFE CENTER to obtain elegant services with these down to earth, whole heartedly people. IT IS BEYOND GREAT!!!...

I would rate this place NO STARS!! I came by to help out an elderly person whom was going to be houseless, but as I was observing the employees whom seem to DEGRADE, MISTREAT AND HAVE IGNORANT POWER TRIPS, I also found out that the few gossipy hags that work in the front & back areas have NO RIGHT to be HYPOCRITES, plus your PERSONAL IDENTITY, WILL BE JEOPARDIZE BY THEIR FAKE APPEARANCES and QUESTIONABLE BACKGROUNDS, BASICALLY ITS LIKE YOUR THROWING YOUR IDENTITY AND PERSONAL INFO TO A BUNCH OF SEVERE IDENTITY THIEVES WHOM WILL GET AWAY WITH IT, BECAUSE THIS COMPANY AND WORKERS DO NOT RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY or EVEN GIVE AN "HONEST" HEARTFELT COMPASSION AS THEY SAY THEY ARE WHEN HEARING THEM BRAG AND BOAST to struggling families and people who are in need of emergency help or their services. HONESTLY THIS PLACE, WORKERS AND COMPANY ARE A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITICAL DECEIVERS. VERY IGNORANT PEOPLE AND THEY SHOULD GET INVESTIGATED BY THE RELIGIOUS GROUPS AND CHURCHES WHOM DO A LOT MORE THAN THESE PEOPLE "PREACH" THEY DO* I WISH MAUI COULD HAVE ANOTHER ORGANIZATION LIKE SALVATION ARMY, GOOD SHEPHERD EPISCOPAL CHURCH, CHRIST THE KING OR ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN THIS TERRIBLE "SACRILEGIOUS CULT-RELATED ACTIONS and HIGH-NOSED SANCTIMONIOUS TYPES OF PEOPLE." I DEFINITELY HOPE THAT THE RELIGIOUS CHURCHES ON THIS ISLAND START AN ORGANIZATION, OTHER THAN THIS COMPANY AND ITS AFFILIATES, THAT TRULY PERFORMS THEIR INTENTIONS AND VIRTUES OF BEING HUMANE, COMPASSIONATE, NONJUDGEMENTAL AND EMPATHETIC TOWARDS THOSE WHO ARE TRULY IN NEED OF DIRE HELP AND THOSE WHO AREN'T TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM* FUTURE CLIENTS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE IN NEED OF HELP, PROCEED...

They've done shady things. Cause a TON of MISCOMMUNICATION, LIED and STILL haven't given me copies of the paperwork that has my signature on it. Don't get me wrong. I am completely thankful for what they did in the beginning which I thought was for me and my family but to play like they don't know anything and to place my family and I in a rat. Yes RAT and MOLD infested home and then tried to volunteer my boyfriend to paint and do maintenance around the house for what to cover up the stuff that's wrong and then what we get blamed for it. Yeah not happening. It was reported on multiple occasions and because we went above them, they closed our case with them. Like I said I am thankful for what they have done for my family but to put me and my family in a situation which now will be back in the situation we were in before we went to them. If I could give separate reviews, I would because of the fact that one specific individual has been nothing but loving, caring and has given me all the guidance that I had needed throughout this whole time.
