From the ORIGINAL CUPIES (the best) then another owner named it Maui Cupies (next best) and now Cupies Cafe, this new owner I I donât think theyâve experienced the older Cupies food Quality and consistency and environmental clean and fun vibe in the dining area to continue utilizing Cupies name. Getting my family together for a sit down meal is rare in these busy life schedules we have and when we do, we donât mind spending our hard earned monies eating out and supporting the businesses out there, but what we hope for when we choose a place to eat at is that they will take pride in the food they are serving us the paying customers. This time we had the grandkids with us so we chose Cupies for kid friendly menu options. We visited in 4/16/25. The crepes was not on point as it used to be that the kids took a few bites and said no itâs not good this time. 2 crepes totaled $18.50. Chopped steak plate meat was teriyaki cut style meat at $16.99. Everyone who experienced the ORIGINAL CUPIES and the NEXT OWNERS knew that the crinkle cut fries always been consistent alongside the mustard mayo ketchup dip in containers. Today for the first time of all the times that we visited this one was a disappointment as we ordered 2 fries totaling $9.75. Each order of fries comes with one to go ramekin container of the mustard mayo/ketchup sauce, if you want more then that 1 container they now have a new charge of $.95 each a little much for that container but so be it, we brought what we wanted, however Just donât serve us STALE RE-FRIED FRIES!! That is a lazy cook with poor judgment who canât distinguish quality, it may also be restaurant owners way of saving monies. This is when you will loose customers when you start slacking on quality. Hopefully this review will reach this new owner to fix that area. We donât like to fuss about food and try to give you another chance while we were there, as it shouldâve been done correctly at first especially something as easy as cooking and serving crinkle cut fries. Calling to speak to a manager donât always work, but customer reviews shared helps other paying customers makes decisions as to...
Read moreWe had a great experience tonight! As always the food was ono. There were 7 of us. We had french fries, saimin, dry mein, fried shrimp plate, teri burger and kalbi plate. To end our meals, we tried the ube slushie float, blue vanilla slushie float and fruity pebbles shake. My two boys also had vanilla ice cream cones.
What made this experience most memorable was, Emma (not sure if one of the owners) came over to our table to talk story with us. She asked for feedback about our meals and if we had any suggestions on how they could do better. The epitome of a wonderful business owner. She asked us about our lives and showed that she sincerely cared about our background and took special interest in my children. I love being able to converse with business owners that accept constructive criticism (although we had none) and so humble in her ways. Mahalo Emma for the ono food and your truly genuine hospitality. We will...

Then I got a large Mango smoothie & he got a large Honeydew smoothie. I will definitely go there again when I get the chance being that we were traveling from the West side Lahaina Town.
