Faithful Grinds — Restaurant in Maui

Casual, local food, friendly staff. Almost 20 daily specials available today (average 10 specials per day), breakfast and lunch served all day. Three stalls of diagonal parking out front, additional parking in the back. Three bar height tables with stools each seating four people (there is room for one more.) plus a small three or four chair regular height bar seating along a wall. There is an additional connected room that's currently being used for storage, that may be opened up for additional dining in the future.

Prices a little high, but that's the situation almost everywhere right now. Ordered the fried rice Moco, gravy was too salty for my liking, so I recommend getting the loco moco with white/brown rice instead. Everything else on the plate tasted great!

Came again the next week, had the chicken katsu curry. Curry itself didn't have much taste which was unexpected especially since last week's gravy was so salty.

Dine-in seating is closed 1 hour before closing, so the last hour is takeout only. They like to go home on time,...

My partner and I traveled the whole Maui island. Ate lots of places (gas stations, food trucks, fine dining, free stands), but of all our week of adventure (with our local friends)... this restaurant was by far our favorite place!! Not only are the owners friendly & kind, the quality of the food, portion, price and variety was greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

We had Loco moco, kalua pork and cabbage and kalua squid (I think that was the name). THE MACORONI SALAD AND GRAVY IS SO ADDICTING!!
