Hurricane Limited — Local services in Maui

Walked into the store and manager was very unwelcoming to us. Made direct eye contact multiple times and she gave no smile or hello. Others were greeted that entered after us and we were in the store for over 10 minutes. We were being watched and followed as we looked around. My friend was going to buy an item, but decided not to as the manager was standing next to us just watching and still did not say hi at all. Was very disappointed as we walked ALL the shops on the strip and ALL shop managers/owners greeted us very kindly. Not sure if our darker skin color influenced her behavior (it should never), but we were the only people of color in the shop at the time. So disappointing....

I visited this store in Jan of 20' from WI. I Bought a set of earrings and necklace that matched. I recently lost one of the earrings and called the store on a whim hoping i could get the same pair. Malia, the owner checked her back stock inventory and i was able to get the same exact pair. Had she not had them, she was going to reach out to the local artist and have her make me one.
