Craved some breakfast on my last day in Maui. Found Freshies on Google and drove out that way. It was a hot day, but the courtyard outside seating was nicely shaded by a giant tree. I ended up eating at the bar since I was alone, all the tables were 4 seaters at least and there was a long line. You wait in line to order and prepay and get a number and drink and they bring food out to you. Apparently the daily specials like eggs benedict will run out unless you come first thing in the morning.
I ordered the Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) breakfast with Portuguese sausage, with English muffin and greens. The eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. The Portuguese sausage is very similar to polish sausage, but slightly firmer. The English muffin was toasted perfectly to a crisp and pre buttered. They give you a side of strawberry jam. It had real strawberries in it. Some of the greens had become dark and mushy so I picked those off.
Food came out quickly and all the wait staff were super nice....
