What exactly is a "manjookie"? It's a hybrid word combining the Japanese pastry "manju" and "cookie". For those that don't know, a manju is a small, circular-shaped pastry that has a soft cookie-like exterior, hollow in the center and traditionally filled with mashed azuki or lima beans.
