So, I wanted to wait a little bit to write this review so I could really get a feel for the bike. First of all, I purchased my bike with James and the experience was absolutely amazing. He was extremely helpful and was not pushy or anything at all. Even when an issue arose during the buying process, James was extremely understanding and patient while I resolved the issue. He ensured that my Chieftain would not be sold to anyone else and that it would still be ready for pickup when I resolved the issue. Cannot say enough about how enjoyable the whole process was. Thank you, James! Now, moving onto the bike. I had a Harley before I purchased my Indian Chieftain. I was weary about getting rid of my Harley and getting an Indian. Looking back at it, I wish I would have gotten my Indian sooner! It is so enjoyable to ride. The Thunderstroke 111 is a fantastic motor. There is no vibration or shaking on the bike at all. It is so comfortable and incredibly light. I can throw around and handle my Chieftain WAY better than I could any other bike. If you're on the fence about buying an Indian, do not worry about buyers remorse! I will have an Indian for the...
Read moreOutstanding experience overall. James did an excellent job with the sales process. His approach was straightforward, low-key, and consultative. I was switching over from being a longtime Harley rider. He invested the time to understand what I was looking for, and the finance team was fast and easy to work with to get the deal done. I walked out the same day with the bike. I started my riding days 31 years ago at the same dealership group (Honda Hurricane). It was great to see that the overall experience was even better. Thank you to everyone involved in the process, and I can only recommend coming here to buy your Indian. The person that wrote the negative review on the same day as I did was insane. Remember, if you are a customer, you want the person's undivided attention working with you. Have patience, and when it is your turn, they will treat you with respect. This old Marine says, "Semper Fi," and the experience was...
Read moreWhat a bizarre experience. The salesman was literally yelling at me while waiting for the finance department for a used motorcycle I bought there. He was yelling because of the extra $300 dollars I asked for (and got) for my trade in was apparently going to break the bank. Well Otto, you win my friend. I see my trade in was on your web site for maybe 2 weeks before you sold it. On my test ride I mentioned I thought the transmission whine was a little loud on the cycle I bought. You told me it was normal and I was using it for bargaining tool. Well, the front drive pulley was loose. This was discovered after the rear wheel (bad bearing) nearly locked up going down the Turnpike at 70 mph. $2000 and many new parts later I'm back on the road. You think I would give them 1 star for this but hey you can't beat their new prices. But the service department and sales...
