Obsessed with this place… it’s the ultimate cozy place to get away! We did a girls weekend and booked a “girls night inn” experience, which was so fun… then later came back to do another stay for a couples getaway with my better half. This is a place you will want to linger… the historic home is beautiful and well kept, a perfectly balanced combination of thoughtfully preserved historic details and modern updates for a luxurious experience. The hostess is delightful, attentive and an incredible cook. Rooms are clean, and decorated with personality (and you set down your bags to find a warm cookie waiting for you.) There are several rooms where you can lounge, listen to old records, or take time to slow down and enjoy the company and the setting. Both stays, we have booked dinners and breakfast, and both have been unbelievably delicious. (Don’t miss the charcuterie board either, seriously, it’s worth it!) The hostess has thoughtfully designed and curated the ULTIMATE bed and breakfast experience. We’ve done a lot of B&Bs, and this place is at the top of the list. Hats off! Can’t...
Read moreWe were so lucky to find this inn for a quick getaway from the Detroit area. A lovely home nestled in a quiet and interesting neighborhood in Maumee, this was just the place to relax and recharge. This house was lovingly restored and updated with so many quaint touches that you can't possibly take them all in. Our host couldn't have been more charming and somehow managed to both give us privacy and be there when we had questions or wanted a chat. Her culinary background shines through in her beautiful breakfast dishes and surprise cookies and cinnamon rolls (if you are lucky). The area was perfect for nature walks and our host had the perfect recommendations for food and drink nearby. Highly recommended for the wonderful stay, lovely company and spot on advice for making the most...
Read moreThis was unlike any other BnB experience I had - it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The charm, the vibe, the characteristic, the FOOD! I had the best dinner and breakfast during my stay, and it was all homemade. Katie, the innkeeper, lives on site and manages to bring such authenticity to the space (yes it’s her home!).
I visited during Fall and it was the most perfect time. Coming from California, I most looked forward to Fall in the Midwest and it was BEAUTIFUL! I was able to walk around, soak in small town charm, and learn about the rich history of Maumee.
It’s one of those places you won’t forget because of the unique style of the interior + overall experience of being in it. Thanks so much Katie...
