Nobody was wearing a mask which was honestly not a big deal to me. But my husband and I and three friends paid to rent kayaks for the first time. We were given very little information besides the fact that the water level was very low right now. They gave us life jackets (none of which would have fit any of us) and said we didn't have to wear them they are just obligated to provide them. They recommended we use them for seat cushions. Ten minutes into our journey we came across some rapids with no way around them. Never having experienced anything like that we all tried to power through them. However, the water level being so low, my kayak flipped landing me in jagged rocks, gashing my hand open and breaking my wrist, spraining my knee and bruising up the entire right side of my body. I do not fault the store for the accident, and I will say they were pretty quick to pick us up and take us back to our car so I could get to the emergency room. The owner even called me the next day to check in which I thought was really kind. If not for that, this rating would be much lower but that was impressive. I just want to recommend that management takes a little longer going over what a first-time kayak renter can expect and if the water level is too low to kayak safely, then don't rent kayaks. It would have also been nice if they would have offered a refund to my husband and I since we really weren't able to experience more than ten minutes of paddling. My kayaking days are over but I would return to the store for supplies because they had a LOT of cool...

Read moreHello been coming to this bait store over 25 years. The old Sterling store LOL.. anyway I'm a big-time fisherman sometimes I like to throw lead jig heads last year and this year they did not have no LED over a half ounce . When the waters up and you want to throw lead you need more weight right? They said they were out last year three different occasions. And this year same thing. But here's the kicker the half ounce jigs that they did have for fishing we're bigger than half inch from point to shank. And guess what yes big fine.$$$ $$$_.. Booo. There should be something on those jigs that say do not use on the river. In March and April.. FYI consumer beware.... They don't care. They might seem like they do but they don't it's all about the big...
