Tried out this place this evening and didn’t have high expectations after I emailed a week prior to reservation and got zero response. Which is unfortunate. We had a 7pm reservation and was sat straight away. It’s an open concept seating with a bunch of paintings by local artist that is for sale. The ones I saw were $850-1200. The staff was super helpful and went the extra mile regarding wine selection. No flight tastings available. She happily let us taste from the glass options: we ordered salads (house&florida) which were absolutely delicious. Small bit reasonably priced. We did traditional cheese fondue which are all Swiss based. Eh just ok. We also did the turtle chocolate fondue. Which I was unable to partake indue to marshmallow ingredients and fish/seafood allergies. Also, the food grills were advised against due to porous nature and seafood cooked on them. So I left hungry and am now Eating the kids pizza after spending $182. There were hardly any patrons on a Saturday evening. If they were more attentive to customers, offered more than Swiss options, and had more allergen/wine options they may survive. But at this rate, I see it being limited. That and traffic that plagues this community and disdain associated with it, they need to do things differently. Nothing compared to melting pot...
Read moreHusband and I visited a few times when they were a fondue place and had excellent service. Tonight we suggested this place to friends and I was embarrassed that I had hyped it up so much. Granted, it was busier than we have seen it in the past but, we sat at the bar (waiting for a table when there were many open tables) for over 20 minutes before we finally waved down a bartender to get a drink. We ordered appetizers with our drinks because we were starving. They seated us shortly after and we explained to our waitress that we had ordered appetizers at the bar. Unfortunately she assumed that was all we wanted and never came back to see if we wanted to order dinner. We sat for another 30 minutes or so before a member of our party hunted down the waitress to tell her that we wanted to order more food. We watched as a couple came in and stood at the hostess stand for a good 15 minutes before finally leaving because no one came to help them. I don’t know what happened between the last time we were here in August and today but, it was obvious they either did not have enough staff or, in my opinion, not attentive/qualified staff to handle the increased demand. The food and drinks were great once we got them but I’m hesitant to recommend this place again based on my...
Read moreI'm giving this place a 3 for the service as the servers were very friendly and attentive. The fondue was pretty good but only came with cold bread, raw carrots and broccoli, and very dry apples. We were told they will only bring additional bread and apples if you ask for them. The serving was super small. The salads were good and made with fresh prime ingredients but took about 30 minutes to come out. The entrees were surprisingly small, unseasoned and you must cook yourself (which we knew). They are charging wagyu beef prices for bite sized pieces of chicken and duck. The serving sauces were ok at best one of them being blue cheese salad dressing. We chose the dark chocolate peanut butter for dessert. The dessert was delicious but basic and the largest overall which took us by surprise. This place has a nice romantic setting but very overpriced in my opinion. Would be great for dessert and wine or just fondue and wine. I think live music would do this place wonders if it wants to compete with other date...
