Ok let me start off by saying this, it's a cute small spot to be "hip" and be on your laptop for hours like most cafes but this place isn't a rave. I was really let down after seeing the pics and expecting something amazing. My mom and I arrived and we were greeted by our amazing and friendly waitress Sébastien. He offered us drinks right away but we told him we'd wait for our food. Once ordered my mom and I literally waited over 40 min for eggs and French toast! My mom joked with him and asked did the cook go and get the chicken for the egg? Lighthearted of course and he laughed. We waited a little more but once we saw that 4 people that arrived 20 min after we did got their 4 plates first my mom was upset and wanted to leave. A young lady whom she wasn't addressing while my mom was telling our waitress that we would like to pay for our coffee and leave butted in and told my mom with an attitude "you see the kitchen right? There is one cook in there so you have to be patient" which my mom responded no there was 2 cooks in there one of them just left to go home (which he had) I'm assuming they made 7 plates and waited to bring them out all together but that's not right because then other people's food gets cold. We decided to stay only because we were starving and our food arrived. Now I was expecting the brioche French toast to be actual slices but they gave me a hamburger bun 😑 for French toast and my eggs were super crispy I asked for over easy. My mom's omelet was cold! We ate and when Sébastien came to give us our receipt he apologized for the inconvenience and my mom said it's fine it's not you you were amazing and gave him a nice tip. Overall it's cute and if you like to wait around and stuff on a laptop where you don't notice the time it takes to have your food brought out then this place is for you. Oh and there was a girl there before us who got her quesedillas...
Read moreCabra Tostá Coffeehouse can be considered as a key spot of Mayagüez. It attracts a trendy, eclectic, and stylish crowd, mostly college students. Ambience and service are great from my experience. Its menu is affordable, yet offers an exquisite culinary experience – if you’re seeking a quick bite.
There a couple yet important drawbacks for potential consumers:
Lack of parking in the area (this problem is experienced nearly everywhere nowadays).
It can get noisy during certain hours – If you’re considering visiting this Coffehouse, consider the time you will go at.
It gets crowded. Very crowded. You might have difficulty in finding a seat or a table, and you’ll might have to wait a bit to get your hands on a seat, or a table.
Serving times might get slower during peak or rush hours.
Overall, I definitely recommend the community to not only visit, but support local businesses like Cabra Tostá. These businesses are the ones who make downtown attractive for a trendy, aspiring people. They hire youngsters – key for maintaining a youthful and alive business.

Read morefantastic coffee shop that left a lasting impression. The space had a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, with artistic wall decor and clothing for sale featuring the company’s logo. It was clearly a popular spot for college students, as I noticed two separate groups enjoying their time there. The seating areas were well-designed for relaxation and socializing. I ordered a cold chocolate milk, and while walking around, I appreciated the open kitchen setup, which added a sense of transparency and trust. The shop also offers local coffee, making it a great place to support the community. Though I only stopped by for a quick treat, I’m eager to return and try their meals.
