Dillard's — Local services in McAllen

My aunt was attended by a sales associate by the name of Maria in the Clinique area at this location of Dillard’s. A week ago she purchased a moisturizer but was not given the product she paid for, the associate told her she’d receive the product with the other products she’d be purchasing at the sales date they had this past August 26. Everything was going well we returned to pick up her order and as we were going through it we realize she’s missing a product we contact the store they assure us we can go pick it up and then when we go pick it up she’s not only giving us a smaller product worth less than the product paid for but also the wrong kind, she goes on to say that it doesn’t matter that all moisturizers are the same and that she can’t do anything about it, she tries giving free samples to make up the monetary difference saying she can’t give us the product paid for since inventory was already taken, common sense if you gave the wrong product you’ll have an extra of the product wrongfully given but she goes on to say that that wasn’t the case. Receipts were presented, products she gave us wrong we’re not opened and attempted to return same day of purchase but she said nothing could be done. Terrible/heartless place. I was at their fragrance department and decided to stop by the Maison Francis Kurkdjian perfumes. I saw they were promoting a new product and my sister proceeded to grab the sample bottle to smell it (all the employees were on the other side talking among themselves but were looking at us) she thought it smelled weird but sprayed it on her arm. She told me she couldn't make out what it smelled like so I naïvely decided to spray it on my arm as well. The moment I sprayed it I realized it was vinegar. After this an employee approached us (not from that brand) to tell us that was only a prop. I don't believe this is right by any means. How can anyone even think to do this to someone else? It is not just the fact that you will be spraying vinegar on yourself but also the employees were there and had the malicious intention to let us spray it on ourselves. I can confirm it was vinegar as I informed an employee about it and she said it was vinegar and water. I really hope they've removed it because I know people who are...

Just let me say that this Dillards really knows what great customer service is. Nancy, the assistant store manager contacted me within 12 hours or so after my initial email to them inquiring about apparel I was in need of for a funeral service. She had Adriana contact me to find out exactly what I was looking for, color, size, etc. Adriana put together a few different outfits and held them for me to try on the following day, as I live better than an hour from McAllen. I went to the store and tried them on. Everything fit perfectly, right down to the shoes! What an absolutely wonderful wonderful shopping experience it was. I was in and out in less than an hour.. These ladies really know what they are doing. They were both kind, courteous and professional. I highly recommend this Dillards and these lovely woman.. Thank you girls! And...
