I took my watch to this place to have some links removed; the guy who assisted me assured me that he would appropriately remove the link and have it resized. He came back with the watch and was resized, however when I received my watch back it felt uneven because there was more slack on the left side of the clip and very little room on the right side (I wear my watch on the left hand), leaving the right side to be extremely tight when I write notes. That very same day that it was resized I wore it for a couple of minutes and came back to the store and let him know, he said that all watches were like that and I would have to get used to it, I did not want to continue with the discussion and just left. It became bothersome the very next day, when I used the watch for a full 8 hours, luckily my co-worker told me her aunt worked on watches as well. Told them the situation and then mentioned the links on the left and right side of the clip, her aunt said the numbers were off. On the right side there was 4 links and on the left side there was 7 links between the clip. My co-worker's aunt said an armature at best, lazy and or incompetent person worked on the watch because between the clip there has to be either an even number on each side or a sequential number between the clip, for example 5 links on the right and 6 links on the left. I love the customer service at Helzberg! The first time my husband and I went ring shopping we stepped into Kay’s Jewelers and were ignored by everyone, we were dressed casually but I think that we still should’ve been helped. Right after we walked into Helzberg and were treated so kindly and bought our rings there. Years later as my daughter’s 15era approaches we decided to take a look for her jewelry. We were attended to immediately by Norma, who was very helpful and patient with my teenager who has picky tastes just like me. After trying on many different necklaces we were able to find the perfect set of necklace, earrings, a tennis bracelet and ring. She looks like a princess and the experience was amazing thanks to the help of Norma and Ryan, who even cleaned our rings and earrings while we shopped. I went to buy an engagement ring at this store. I ordered the ring to be resized and have an engraving done on it. When I came back to pick it up it had deep scratches on it from the tools used to engrave it and the resizing was done horribly to the shape of an “S”. So I went back to the store to have it looked at and placed another order for the same ring. Again, I had it resized and engraved. This time the engraving was done badly and the stone looked cloudy from the beginning and we went back to get it steamed cleaned. The stone looked a little better afterwards, however, after the cleaning we noticed new scratches on the ring almost like if the ring was being held with small metal tongs or tweezers during the cleaning.
