My family and I went in today to try this restaurant out. We did not bother to look at reviews so that we could be completely unbiased. Upon entering the restaurant we walked up to ask to be seated at the front desk. There were Three ladies at the desk talking and then one asked how many and told us to follow her. Walking towards our table we noticed there was hardly any room to walk through, the restaurant felt compressed!. Upon arriving at our table we noticed two bottled waters and some sweet bread in a to go container which we later found out that they would be charged extra if opened. When our waiter(MANUEL) came to get our drink order...HE DIDN'T BOTHER TO ASK how we were or even introduce himself to us! He just asked what we were having to drink.! My wife ordered a coffee. We noticed that there were NO MENUS, everything was available on a QR Code was what we were told when we asked for a regular menu since it was our first time coming here! My wife noticed that we did NOT HAVE ANY silverware to use to stir her coffee, when I asked our server for one...he had a BAD attitude and no manners as he did not even bother to look at us and even looked away as in disgust to have to get us some silverware. I got up and had a talk with our waiter and asked if he was going to have a attitude like that so we could gladly pay for the coffee and leave as the restaurant had already disrespected us with the lack of attentiveness!!! We decided not to leave as we would not let a bad apple ruin it for the establishment so we decided to stay and order. Once we got our food that took a while to get to us...we started to try our food. The food was extremely BLAND , OVERPRICED AND THE RESTAURANT WAS OVER HYPED! I have NEVER felt bad about spending money for a great meal and some extremely great service but, Today I genuinely feel I was robbed of my money and time!!! WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AND WILL STRONGLY ADVISE OUR RELATIVES AND FRIENDS TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Some helpful tips for the owners and management of this restaurant would have to be to try not to focus so much on extravagant and over the top Menu and Drinks but to shift their attention over to generating good food, good portions, and work on their overly priced menu! Not to mention your menu makes Zero sense as , you don't know if the restaurant is Mexican, American, Italian, or Cuban????!!! Stick to what might be your forte and don't over...
Read moreMy husband took us here for a brunch. He knows how much I love late breakfast and let me tell you. All this 1 star comments don't make them justice. At sitting the table corner scratched my thighs 😫 and got hurt badly. Tables were put too closely to the booth. Our booth area was full of flies while eating. We let our waitress know about flies but nothing was done. My husband gets serve 3 little cups of salsa which he did liked but when asked for chips we got told chips didn't come out till after 3pm and it was 1pm. They gave us these bread bites with butter and told us to put the salsa in the bread. The cappuccino I order was okish. And my husband had coke. I order the abuela Omelette and my husband the tampiqueña. My Omelette said included ham but didn't specifies was turkey ham. I order cheese with it and the cheese was no where to be found in the Omelette. My husband plate lack some flavor in the enchiladas. FOR our fortune the manager Peter was around tables asking if service was good. And lord knows I let him have it. Told him about the flies and aside the food not been top notch restaurant quality the waitress service was good. He apologized and out a fan aside of our table. Kept talking and talking about how it was a hectic Sunday and our waitress got pressured so much by the manager he came to our table to ask us if he had done something wrong. Well we assured him that the service was good but fir starters he could of taken our concerns to the manager and maybe he wouldn't gotten as pressured. As we about to leave and had asked for the ticket. Peter offered to sit us somewhere else. We declined as we just wanted to keave. Aside all the trying to make it better, we got offered a free concha as a dessert because manager said that's what their known for. We asked to plated to go because we wanted to leave. He gave us he's number to give us better service next time. I don't think there will be a next time. The least they could of done is give us an inconvenience discount. 10% minimum. We still paid 80$ for two. Presentation and pictures can say so much. But when you are there is a different experience. By the way what the heck, with the atmosphere???!!! It's a mix of everything and you don't even know where you at and what you eating, or what they were going for? Props to the guy singing live. That's the only good thing I took from the brunch. Sadly no one clapped for him and he was...
Read moreI ordered an omelette with turkey breast, bacon, cheddar cheese, spinach, and onions with avocado and received it with ham and bacon, instead of turkey breast and bacon mind you the actual menu says turkey breast when I brought it to their attention. One of the floor manager stated to me that it is turkey breast type but made into a ham, which is diced ham and I said your menu says turkey breast that’s why I ordered turkey breast. Can I just have chicken instead? They took it back and brought out my new order as soon as I took the first bite I noticed that there was no chicken in omelette , so I brought it to the servers attention this time and notify her that they did not put my chicken breast in my omelette. She stated if I was sure I showed her by opening the omelette and then proceeded to tell me if I would want him to fix it again I stated no I’ll eat it the way it is and that was it. She then proceeded to come back with the chicken shredded stating to me that this was supposed to be inside my omelette and I stated to her that I did not want it anymore. I do have a firm believe that if you have to return food, I usually do not trust it coming back to me without it being possibly tampered with and I rather just not eating at all. I made an exception in this case since it was my first time being There, and so when the second time came around, I decided not to take the meat that they forgot to put in there. When leaving, I notified the hostess in the front of what had happened she stated to me that they have new staff in their kitchen and she apologized very deeply. I did proceed to ask her if they made that error twice then why am I still being charged a full ticket me for the omelette that I technically didn’t even eat since they never got my order right, she stated that she would let the manager know of the issue. This is very poor CUSTOMER SERVICE, we have two errors in a row with a customer technically should’ve gotten a discounted bill at minimum for the errors and that courtesy was not even extended whatsoever. I did pay for the full amount and I promise you considering the prices that are there It was not worth the pay whatsoever. Me and my family and friends will not be going to this...
