Pretty Dresses, Awful Customer Service

This store has a beautiful selection of gowns, but the customer service was terrible. We were ready to buy up to three dresses, but the experience was so frustrating that we left empty-handed.

The sales associate helping us kept being pulled away to assist others—she even questioned why she was being asked to leave us when she was already busy. We wanted to see available color options for a dress, but instead of helping, they just handed us magazines to search for it ourselves. When we couldn’t find it, another associate gave us different magazines, but we still had no luck.

Some staff members were downright rude and didn’t even bother answering our questions. Overall, the lack of assistance and dismissive attitude cost them our business. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a helpful and attentive...

We ended up opting for having our dresses tailor made due to our VERY unique body structure; however, I must point out this store where we found good customer service and a great variety of dresses AND the best prices. Their dresses are classy, very distinct from the cheap looking shiny dresses on nearby Main Street. We visited the higher end more exclusive stores with designer dresses and later discovered manyof those dresses at Flan's for 1/3 of the price or less. They do not have an in house seamstress; however, they are partnered up/ will refer you to someone they are familiar with. $35 deposit will get your dress ordered, you do not have to commit to the dress, and they can alter/ modify the dress in many ways to fit your needs. when i went to go look for a dress employees were helpful and reserved a dress for 30$. when i whent back i chose not to get it and asked for a refund they refused and told me that they dont refund anything. i explained that i hadn’t even taken the dress home and i just wanted a simple refund of the 30$ that i wasnt going to use for the dress there. The employees started to get very defensive and saying that they dont do refunds and they were trying to get me to still buy a dress even though i didnt want to. they said they couldn’t do refunds again and offered for me to take the earrings instead for those 30$ i had paid and that it was the only option since they weren’t willing to refund me....
