I live next to a cabin they rent. Cuddle up does NOT care about your cabin. Large party's all the time damages to homes and property by letting large party's with loud music and drunkenness. They rent to a couple people and then 15 more show up. They never check in on guest or the cabin they rent. I am not against visitors coming at all but some common sense and courtesy would be nice. It gets old every time the neighbors house is rented to very large groups I have to fix driveway and put up with the noise and rudeness of the renters. Cuddle up in my opinion just don't care about anyone's property and rent to whoever has money. Shame on you . I would never recommend them to rent or list a property. Update October 2022 Very respectfully called cuddle up cabin rentals to see about getting a maintenance guy to come out and grade off the driveway they refused to do so but encourage large parties next door to local residents. The lady at the phone Gina believe her name is was rude to me say they're not responsible for what the renters do in my opinion they are 100% responsible they are collecting money to rent these places with no intentions of being respectful to neighbors not to mention everybody gets on the bandwagon and flooded the market in fannin county with rentals and all it's doing is a destroying our quietness in the mountains if you come to the mountains be respectful enjoy the peace and quiet you want to get drunk stay where you come from we don't want to hear your loud music and you're drunken parties. The response below yes I do have a rental above my barn we do not allow drunkenness it's for one couple at a time it's a honeymoon suite romantic getaway type rental our renters and visitors never tear up the driveway and I shouldn't be responsible for the neighbors rental house every time they tear up the driveway and they will spend sometimes all the way up and 50 ft down the road. UPDATE BASED OFF COMPANY'S RESPONSE - Calling an honest review malicious speaks to your lack of accountability. Again, if you knew the morning of you should have reached out. Finding out at 9am we may be homeless provides more opportunity to regroup than at 4pm on a Friday evening. The claim that you found us another rental is false, as when we called that company the location was not available - it is clear you did not call them to confirm. Your team repeatedly stated there was nothing you could do. AirBB did not find us another location, they kept us waiting for a response for over 2.5hrs. We found another location ourselves after a very stressful few hours. You are in the hospitality industry - you should know how to recover a bad situation. I completely understand things happen, it's about how you handle them. You failed, and still have not apologized for it.
Original review - This company canceled our reservation 15min before check in, leaving our group of 10 and 3 dogs without a place to stay after a 9hr drive on labor day weekend. They said they had been going back and forth all day about canceling due to a maintenance issue, and yet said nothing until 3:45pm. They would not give any details on the maintenance issue. Worst of all, they did nothing to assist in finding other accomodations. No putting us up in another property, no connecting us to another rental agency in the area, no offering to book hotel accomodations. TERRIBLE customer service. Zero...
Read moreStayed there 3 nights with the family. It was unseasonably hot and the thermostat was set to 80 degrees at the time of our arrival. We got in touch with customer service and they essentially said "No, it wasn't". I'm fairly confident that the four adults who were in our party could accurately read the numbers on a thermostat. To their credit, they did send maintenance and an HVAC company to assess the situation. However, the customer service over the phone treated us poorly and lied about trying to relocate us to another cabin as well as providing additional linens. We have stayed in Blue Ridge 10-12 times and always with Southern Comfort and Escape to Blue Ridge with minimal issues. Personally, my family will never use Cuddle Up again.
Response to owner: I did decline the two box fans that were offered as fans will not lower the temperature inside of a home. You are correct that the HVAC system did eventually cool the cabin to the desired temperature, but only at night. During the day, the main level was uninhabitable and the system never reached the desired temperature. In the response to my wife, you stated that we declined to be moved to another cabin. However, you stated to me "We did not move you to another cabin because mechanically, there was nothing wrong with the HVAC at this cabin."
