Chooch — Local services in McCaysville

Visited this shop on the last day of vacation in Blue Ridge. Driving around Mcaysville which is very close to Blue Ridge, my father and I happened upon this great looking odd and ends, antiquities, etc shop.

We came inside and we're so happily and nicely greatest by the owners and ended up having a great talk with the husband and wife who seemed like great and respectable people even in this time of disingenuous people.

They had so many great little items and even some big items that were so perfect for putting around a house and admiring! I loved that they even have many small artists and creators around the area displaying their magic for sale in their shop as well. The owners even had many items made by themselves, even though small, so cool and unique!

I couldn't recommend stopping at this store more! They are GREAT people, GREAT store, and GREAT merchandise...along with a very easy location to access!

My personal experience with Chooch is in their earlier incarnation as Thriftarellas in Florida. Dominic and Christine have a long held history of being great community members, both as business owners and via fostering relationships that extend to personal friendships. They have an experienced and cunning perception of artistic talent, and of current and future trends. Their sense of humor and ability to project & predict new and innovative concepts gave our community a chance to have unique items. Collectors and would be collectors always found something to catch their eye. I have no doubt that Georgia is experiencing the same quality of service, interest and friendly customer service. Florida's loss is a great gain for Georgia. Definitely make some time to stop in and not just once many times because there is always something of interest whether it be a new display, new products or simply charming and engaging...

Chooch is one of my favorite stores in the area. They always have something new, and I’ve found several one-of-a-kind items for my home here. The owners are fantastic, and it’s been a pleasure getting to know them more with each visit.

The prices are very reasonable, and so many of the pieces are handmade and truly unique, which is something that I value highly. The variety is also impressive... you’ll find something for anyone on your gift list, and chances are you’ll discover something you didn’t know you needed until you saw it at Chooch.

This shop isn’t just for tourists, it’s a true gem for locals too....
