I wish their parking space had a "for Hallmark customers only" sign. I was just passive-aggressively told not to park near their store because it's "common courtesy" not to do so and that "I wouldn't like it if they parked where I worked." (Which is a childish way to go about thinking).
I'm sorry if I had offended them by parking there. To the left of the Hallmark is a bigger parking lot, and I was never told not to park there. Since this Hallmark is part of a plaza, I instinctively thought that no one cared about where people parked as long as it wasn't obstructing handicap parking.
The way the whole situation was handled was just rude. As I had stated in the beginning, if they are genuinely concentrated on their parking space, they should place signs that specifically state not to park there unless you're a Hallmark customer. My goal wasn't to cause trouble for anyone there. I just wanted to walk a longer distance to my destination.
