Peekaboo Playground — Local services in Medford Township

Clean, yes, during the time that we were there employees walked around disinfecting surfaces. But there also are not a lot of small things to play with, so I feel like it is easy to keep organized. There are puzzles on a few of the walls, and a few climbing places that are seperate for smaller tots.

Most of this place is consumed by two giant Jungle Jims for the kids to climb. A few slides, a small building pad, a small grocery store, and that's really it.

There is a space by the windows where kids can eat and parents can sit. While we were there some kids had peanut butter sandwiches, and an employee ask their parent to put it away because it is a peanut free zone. But there were several parents walking around without socks on. We had to purchase socks when we got there since we forgot, but no one reprimanded these other parents at all.

Overall the space was great for the kids to run around for about an hour and a half. But it is somewhere that we would not go all of the time, and I don't think we would get...

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review at all because my child and I have had some good times here. Safety is a big concern if your child is small. There is no one enforcing rules for rough housing or any other rules for that matter (lots of children had taken their socks off and left them around, kids were playing upside down & on the sides of equipment, kids had toys/blankets from home on the floor, etc.) My 8 month old and I were literally trampled by some older children who were definitely not trying to hurt anyone but seemed to be unsupervised. We left immediately without a word from staff & will never go back. I’d say this is definitely not a place for babies and shouldn’t be charging crawlers if they won’t be protected. Really disappointed that Peekaboo playground doesn’t have a mask policy at least for adults. I took my 23 month old because we hadn’t been in a while and we’ve always loved peekaboo. I’ve only ever felt comfortable taking my kids to peekaboo because it’s consistently been the cleanest indoor playground in the area (even pre pandemic). The place was crowded this morning and not one other person or child was wearing a mask. With the current omicron surge that is so irresponsible considering most of peekaboo playgrounds customers are unvaccinated little ones.
