One of the worst auto dealerships encountered in 55 years of US, Japanese and European car ownership. Scheduled replacement of 4 tires and oil change in the dealership’s Quick Lane Auto Center. When tires ordered, parts mgr assured that tires would be available in few days. However, scheduled appointment 2 weeks later. When asked pt mgr to call if problem arose, he said he would ensure the tires are on board, not to worry. Asked to call me if Problem arose prior to sked date to which he stated tires would be there absolutely and would advise problems. Upon arrival, no tires, no indication of order, nobody knew anything. Gus, the service rep assisting with appointment, indicated the tires could be gotten within 1 hour from local warehouse. As I was to wait for the service, had little choice but to agree. Two hours and 45 minutes later job done. As part of Medford Ford promo literature, oil service was to include battery check, vehicle check up, brake check, etc. Dealer report on this aspect was a comprehensive Nothing. Brakes Have 33000+ miles and probably showed some wear. “Who? Me...don’t know nothin.” Fluilds? Zip report of any thing done. Maybe tech did check, maybe didn’t, however, it remains confidential at dealership. For potential customers, note that no deduction for major service error was offered when discussed. Can’t do that. Bill was $778. It seemed to me there was morose feeling throughout the place. I received no spontaneous friendly greeting throughput the dealership. At one point, I was standing looking for the hidden waiting room, apparently bewildered, when an employee wandered by with nary an offer of assistance. Nobody seemed to smile in the joint. Interactions with people throughout were quite abrupt. Then there was the customer waiting area. It was rather dingy and Georgia-muffler-shop vintage. The rug was dirty and stained with debris under the old, nicked and beat up, mismatched, office chairs. The room’s 4 two-tube Workshop-like florescent light fixtures were lovely: 1 not working, another missing it’s cover. There was visible dirt and litter under an old scuffed table and under other furniture. Some of the front window panes had leaked and a yellow foam like substance covered the frame bottoms. The water stained ceiling was a nice touch. The best feature was a 5 gal water cooler with about 2 inches of water, but no cups. The newest things in the room were the big vending machines. The lights in the passageways did not appear to be on; they were dark and unfriendly. Gus, the service writer tried hard and was commendable, however, my overall image seemed to lack confidence in the the total operation. The Medford Ford Service motto is Easy, Fast, Fun. I must have missed...
Read moreTwo or three years ago I wanted a remote start installed on my Ford F150 truck. Medford Ford contracts with Kohl’s electronics installed. The system after it has been installed on my truck never worked. Initially the door locks. The automatic door lock stopped working so I could not remotely unlock or lock the doors. Remote start occasionally worked and did not work. Went back to Medford Ford, and Paul’s electronics told me that they would change the whole system which they did. After that was Changed, the remote start work intermittently. I was told to disconnect the battery and re-connected to make the system reboot itself. I did that no success it’s still only worked intermittently. I have taken this car back for about five or six times at least to get this repaired. Every time I go back I get the same story we’ll get it repaired. At one point Medford Ford told me I needed a new body control module. I spent over $800 after spending over $350 on installing the remote start to install the body control module. Went to start the car by just inserting the key in the ignition it would not start. This was the second time that this is happened. Medford Ford rebooted the remote keys. At which point they told me don’t start it remotely. Just use the normal start as long as the door unlocked and locks. They also told me they would call Paul’s electronics and have him come out and fix it. This was at the end of last year. They said they would contact me after the holidays, Gus and Rob never called me back. I kept calling Rob and he kept telling me I’ll call Paul I’ll call Paul. Never got a callback. This week I went to see the manager Jeff he told me the same sob story. They promised to give me a loaner car today. That was a lot went there. No loaner car begin second time this is happened. I called and spoke with Rob and I told him and this is not the first time I told him that I want my money back for the installation of the remote start. They keep saying well Paul’s installed it . Well, I didn’t contract with Paul’s to install it. I contracted with Medford Ford. It is their responsibility. I am getting tired of this. They are liars. They won’t refund my money then they’re playing games. This is the worst Ford dealership I have ever seen in my life. Don’t...
Read moreIf I could rate the staff in this establishment at a zero I would. I dropped off my car to get it fixed. My car was given back to me twice with the assurance that it was fixed but it wasn't. They held my car for over a month and said "we fixed your clutch and the TCM." They didn't do anything at all. They lied every step of the way. They gave me a rental and since i had it so long, because they can't fix a car to save their life, they called me one morning 5 times leaving messages about needing the rental back asap. They also said your car is fixed and we'll drop it off at your house. They had some random girl drive my broken car to my house, say it's fixed and took the rental back. I wish I was wise to their trick but I was so relieved to have my car back that I didn't expect them to be so sleazy to lie just to get the rental back. I should of known better and test drove it before I gave the rental back. I never thought anyone would orchestrate such a deceitful plan to get their rental back. What an act they put on and especially the girl who drove it here!! Lied right to my face and said" it's all good". They are cheats and liars. I made a formal complaint and the manger didn't return my calls or emails. Not like he could even defend his actions or his staffs actions. The lengths they went through to not fix my car is mind boggling. I took my car to another shop and they said no work had been done to my car.. but Medford Ford swears they did.. how come it doesn't run then?? And why would you think it's cool to let someone drive a broken car?? I couldn't even get up to 30 mph without the car shuddering and stalling. That's dangerous!! But they don't care.. they wanted me gone and the rental back. Never dealt with such cheats. And they took the rental back full of the gas I put in it. Wanna guess how much they put in it for me when I got it?? One slash before empty. Real nice. Not surprised their rating is so low. Don't ever get your car fixed here!! It won't get done but they'll...
