Read moreI don’t leave negative reviews often but I really cannot believe they put someone as unstable as the current manager and assistant manager in charge. The assistant manager is okay at best. The new store manager however has absolutely got to be the companies way of confirming Michael’s as a brand is dying. I think her name is Jolyn? She’s absolutely awful. Berates the employees in front of the customers for something that’s the manager’s fault, I swear when I saw it she was going to start beating the poor girl. The new manager is also the laziest manager I’ve ever met. If she’s on the floor and you ask her a question she’ll either ignore you, she’ll tell you “I don’t know”, or she’ll tell you to go find the item yourself… genuinely nobody at the call line seems to care that she’s acting this way, which means that either A, they’re shutting down the store soon, or B, they don’t care about their employees.
Michael’s Management - DO better. BE better. Don’t put people who don’t care about their community or staff in charge...
Read moreThis has been the worst online experience I have ever had, made even worse by horrendous customer service. My package inexplicably traveled from within a few miles of my destination to the opposite side of the state three times. I believe this is because they don't like or understand my general delivery address and are discriminating against it. To add to this frustration, the telephone service was terrible; I was hung up on multiple times. Shockingly, on two of these occasions, it was by a manager when I was trying to address the actions of a customer service agent. Ultimately, I never received the package, and the order was canceled after the sender requested its return. Because of this exceptionally frustrating and unacceptable experience across both shipping and customer support, including being dismissed by management and what I perceive as discrimination against my address, I will never shop at...
