The Regional Mgr, Richard, answered the phone and said the annual fee is deducted from your account 2 months following your sign up month. When I signed up, the $49 fee was a one time sign up fee. Richard said he could cancel my membership and refund the annual fee. I asked why would I want to cancel my membership and join again later and pay the annual fee again. I asked to speak with the individual, VP of Operations, over him, he provided her number. He again said you want me to refund your $49. I asked why is there no text, mail, email sent to let members know this is coming out of their account. He had no answer except it is explained during sign up and people sign up in different months. He again asked if he should cancel my membership and refund the fee. I asked why does he continue to ask me this, have I asked you to cancel my membership? He then hung-up - EXTREMELY unprofessional and lacking customer service, he is their Regional Mgr - not setting good example. So I recently quit going to planet fitness because of the simple fact that there’s a certain employee that worked there by the name of BING HE’S MORE THAN NICE HE’S MORE OF A WEIRDO. HE SAYS YOUR NAME AND THEN REMEMBERS YOUR NAME AND THEN WALKS AROUND THE GYM ACTING LIKE HE’S FILLING UP BOTTLES OR CHANGING PAPER TOWELS OR PUTTING STUFF IN STORAGE AND SAYS YOUR NAME HE GIVES YOU THE HEEBIE-JEEBIES IF YOU’RE A FEMALE UNLESS YOU LIKE THAT KIND OF ATTENTION THAT IS ME PERSONALLY I DON’T. I JUST WANNA COME WORK OUT AND NOT FEEL HARASSED ON TOP OF THAT. I DID A CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPLAINT AND THEIR WONDERFUL TEAM REACHED OUT BY THE NAME OF ALEX TOLD ME WHAT DO YOU LIKE SOMEBODY BE A NICE TO YOU? NO, I DON’T WANNA FEEL LIKE I’M BEING CREEPED ON WHILE I’M WORKING OUT. I’M A FEMALE SO HE CAN’T RELATE UNLESS HE CHANGED OVER NOT TO A FEMALE SO WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I love pf as Im traveling and its always nice showers,clean and well equipped. I always keep a black card membership which enables me to use the massage machines..which is also nice as I'm traveling..but signing into them is always a trial and 7 minutes isn't enough time on a machine and the workers act like theyre doing me a favor just to sign me up. I checked in with my phone 6 times signing up for a massage chair (some ppl know how to give you longer on chairs since its connected to wifi, most dont and ask you to come back every 7 minutes if you want longer) and they seemed to enjoy giving me a hard time. He kept asking me to sign back in. The 7th time he asked I just walked out and he was sarcastically yelling BYYYYEEE HAVE A NICE DAAAY. There was 3 of them there just watching. I don't expect every employee to be perfect or even friendly..but when they go out of their way to be rude, its horrible...
