My wife took my little daughter to H&M to buy clothes. H&M had only one fitting room for men, boys, women, and girls. There was a male attendant. The fitting room doors are 8" from the floor. It is the male attendant's job to look through the gap at the bottom of the door to watch the little girls pulling on their jeggings. He is supposed to look at the little girls changing their pants so that he can tell the next customer if the room is empty or not. When she complained that she did not want a man in the fitting room, she was told by the manager that "H&M does not discriminate based on sex." What does that mean since H&M DOES discriminate, that is, tells the difference between males and females, because it sells female clothes. The female clothes have different colors, sizes, forms and are located in a different area of the store from the men's section. I think that under the pretense of being nondiscriminatory H&M is just being cheap (having one fitting room and letting male employees attend it) and does not care if their fitting rooms created inappropriate situations. JC Penney has separate fitting rooms. We will shop there or shop online from now on. 2...
Read moreThis store is the worst. I went there to purchase a few items and as I was checking out they informed me that I would have to pay for bags or carry my clothes out in my hand as if I’m a thief and didn’t just buy my clothes. I told them that there is no way I’m paying for a bag after spending money to shop in their establishment on actual items from their establishment then paying for a bag to carry those items out. Sophia was the mgr on duty and very rudely told me well that’s the policy and to call customer service. Well she had the chance to offer excellent customer service at that time but decided to let me walk out over a .10 cent bag. They let hundreds of dollars walk out over A .10 cent bag. If I was her district mgr I’d fire her. That was the worst judgement call ever. On top of being rude . I drove over an hour to get there as this is one of the only stores I frequently buy my clothes from. They have definitely lost me as a customer and at this rate I’m sure locations will close as more people will shop online and avoid the rude, non customer friendly sales associates who act as if they’d rather be home anyway. Worst service I’ve ever...
Read moreSeriously, some of the worst customer service that I have encountered. Being an assistant manager of another retail store in this mall, I have to say that of all the stores that I frequent while on my break or while shopping around after my shift, this H&M has some of the rudest employees. No greetings, lackluster answers to questions, overall just a sappy establishment. Management should definitely look into opportunities for improvement when it comes to training their associates on customer service, that is, if the actual management team knows what customer prioritizing is. I enjoy H&M for the great deals, but I feel like the negative energy of the employees here put a damper on my shopping time, which I enjoy when I am trying to indulge in some retail therapy. So yeah, H&M should definitely put more focus into ensuring that their associates are providing at least "good" customer service and making their customers...
