Gyros & More Greek Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

While I was waiting on my food I could not help but overhear an extremely unprofessional exchange from someone behind the counter in a white shirt who I can only assume is the manager. They where taking a while to get some orders out to Uber drivers, then all of a sudden, the manager started, putting into the conversation between the two drivers and very loudly, so everyone in the area could hear, was commenting about how they cannot wait, and they’re impatient, and a whole bunch of unprofessional comments. She started bating one of the other drivers who wasn’t even talking to the manager because she mentioned to the other driver that she preferred the other location. Caused a whole scene to the point where I didn’t even want to be eating the food here. It was very lackluster, too, the Gyro meat was dry, and the tzatziki tasted just like yogurt with...

I generally like this place. I really do. But after they Raised prices 10% TWICE in the last month and then charge you an extra 4% just to use your credit card without mentioning it to you, I can no longer patronize this business. The price of my meal literally went up $4 which is a 25% increase. It’s safe to say this place is price gouging and taking advantage of people under the guise of inflation.

I will not be doing business with this place again and will find another Greek/middle eastern restaurant to spend my money with on a regular basis.

The specialized grilled cheese spot next door to them uses chicken that’s void of hormones and you can get a sandwich for $8 but this Gyro place’s chicken is filled with hormones and they act like they’re serving you organic food .

I mostly eat in the mall location but have gotten it to go at the hibiscus location. To be clear, the only thing I ever order is a gyro platter with an extra side. It’s a lamb gyro, fries and a Greek salad with a soda. Omg the food is delicious. The gyro is so good I lick the sauce off the aluminum foil with my finger. Down to the last bite the gyro is so good. And the French fries; they’re perfect every time as well. They are the best fries of any place I’ve ever ordered them. They’re crunchy, the right size, the exact amount of cooking time. The Greek salad is so good too. I look forward to eating that one olive and one pepperoncini pepper that’s in the salad hahahahahahaha.
