This one compared to the one on Plaza, has better upkeep. Restroom are much cleaner. There isn't T. Paper all over the floor. They look like someone is doing the upkeep often. They have motorized carts, {for handicap needs} that actually work. The Plaza one are not repaired or replaced when they stop working properly. We went there to shop on Sunday, Feb. 20th, 2022. I checked 7 carts and they wouldn't move. The lights that tells you weather they are charged were showing red, yellow and green lights. So they either fully charged or they just worn out. Another lady also needed one. We went back to see them again and my daughter was able to get one to work. After checking all of them, there were 7 not working. We did finally get one to work and the other lady was to get one to work as well. We were shopping a few days before and got one that worked. After my basket on it was completely full, it died in an isle completely. Went back to the front, was able to actually find one that worked, put All the groceries in it. I was with my family and they were shopping also. So this slowed everything down as we needed to get home. The one thing I found, was sometimes the cart won't go. I get it to work by putting it in reverse then go forward. This does happen a great deal while shopping. It's very frustrating. I've noticed Wal*Mart has brand new motorized carts. I think these need a serious repair or just replaced completely. I can't see why Kroger couldn't afford to buy new ones. After finding ones that worked, {just barely} there were still 5 that didn't. Some customers really need in order to shop. I'm sure someone has brought it to a managers attention. I'm just...

Read more**It's 7/10/18 and I'm adding to my initial post for this Kroger to say: this Kroger location is under construction on its right side of the building as a Starbucks is being built inside (of this Kroger).
*Due to the high volume of visitors here, parking is usually very limited. There are plenty of distracted customers in Mendenhall Commons. You definitely have to go slow driving through this parking lot. Exiting Mendenhall Commons during high traffic hours can be a challenge. There are handicap parking spots directly in front of Kroger grocery store and a few other handicap accessible parking spots near other shops but not necessarily directly in front...
