Good artists, bad experience. I came in with a friend and made my appointment for the 19th on December 5. That allowed my tattoo artist two full weeks to come up with designs. For context, I will add my reference photo. I asked her to create my dogs in this design. I also will add what she presented to me when I came in for the tattoo. In my opinion, this looks 0% like the style I had asked, for all I had asked, was to not make the dogs aggressive, which simply would have been removing the snarl from the original concept. I did not attempt to draw it myself as I was paying her to do that. One of the biggest problems I had with this situation is I put a $100 deposit down With a two week timeframe and within this timeframe, my artist decided she only needed to come up with one design option. I imagine this took her less A few hours as a professional artist. When I came into the appointment and told her very respectfully, I did not like the design. She continued to tell me that it was not possible as she did not say this at our initial consultation. She was fairly short and rude. She then decided she could go back and redraw the whole thing. When she came back from it, it again looked nothing like the design I had asked for so she continue to tell me it was impossible (Maybe for her, but obviously not impossible as I brought a drawing in as reference). At this time, she also told me that I was cutting into her tattoo time which I think is extremely rude considering she is taking MY PAID Time to Think of other designs that she had two weeks to do prior. I find this very, very, very unprofessional and disrespectful. I left $100 short, no tattoo, and the artist got a second paid lunch break. I highly recommend going in with a finished design and not asking for them to create as they will be very rude if they cannot fit your vision during in during their ātattoo timeā even though you had paid them to create the design prior. Bad service. Front desk lady is absolutely lovely though! And so is the piercer I had seen prior when I went with my friend! Ps: she made my cavalier look...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an awful experience with the piercer at Midnight Moon and honestly left feeling shaken and really upset. I came in with a septum piercing Iāve had for two and a half months, fully healed with no pain or tenderness.I was simply looking to switch out the jewelry. Instead of handling it gently, she yanked on it so forcefully it moved my entire head. When I reacted in pain, she told me the piercing wasnāt healed and I needed to wait another two months. Of course it is going to hurt if you attempt to rip it out of my face. There was no care, no explanation, just instant dismissal and a really rude attitude. I immediately went to another reputable shop, where the piercer was shocked by the experience I described at Midnight Moon, she said my piercing looked totally healed and was able to change the jewelry quickly and painlessly. I donāt usually leave negative reviews, but I donāt want anyone else to be treated like that. The piercer there was rough, rude, and I will not be going back or recommending this place to anybody
Unfortunately I canāt respond to your response on my last review, so I will just edit this one. Iām confused by your confusion, Michaela. 1. You actually did do my septum piercing, there may be some confusion bc Iām writing this review from a friends Google account. 2. Another reputable shop was able to change the jewelry quickly and painlessly and confirmed that my septum was healed. 3. I explained to you that after about ten minutes of trying to remove the balls at home with my mom, the area was sore due to all the pulling and tugging we were doingā and your response was to yank on it again, even more forcefully Iām not upset with your āprofessional opinionā or that you declined to do the jewelry change. Iām upset by how rough you were, yanking on the jewelry so hard it also pulled my head, and how dismissive the interaction felt. Denial of behavior, distortion of events, and the accusation of dishonesty will be more reasons I donāt return here. And no, I didnāt leave āpleasantā ā I left quietly because I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreShocked with the lack of professionalism, which resulted in me permanently stuck with a tattoo that I absolutely hate. My artist (Timm Myers) barely said a single word to me, didnāt show me a design or final piece, just slapped an unfinished stencil on my arm and told me to lie down. I felt uneasy, but the plain stencil looked nice and I figured he was the professional. He drew on the element that I wanted most freehand in sharpie, once again not being clear with how it would look or asking if I liked it, then got to tattooing. He still hadnāt really spoken to me or asked my opinion so I was extremely uncomfortable throughout. By the end of the 4 hours I was so dizzy and tired that I just payed and left, but I hate it. I was very specific about what I wanted, but Timm obviously just doesnāt care about his clientsā wants. I got it as a coverup for some unsightly scarring but Iād honestly rather have the scars. Extremely upset that I spent $700 on something I dislike so much, and now a large portion of my arm is ruined and Iāll never have the tattoo I want. Afterwards I contacted Timm with the issue, he got back to me with an email full of excuses, saying he had to rework what I asked for to suit the scars. Not only does that not make sense, but at no point did he ever attempt to communicate a rework to me, he instead decided to give me a tattoo I didnāt ask for. I responded asking for any suggestions as to how to fix it, and the owner Mathew Clarke got back to me saying thereās nothing they could do. Thatās it? I asked for suggestions on how to fix what YOU messed up, the least you can do is show basic respect. I suppose what money I have left will be spent on laser removal. All I have to say is if youāre looking for a comfortable environment with communicative artists whoāll listen to you, run far, far away. Otherwise, you might just end up...
