A few days ago we had the most pleasant experience with Jeremy. He was very helpful and had a great personality. Fast forward a couple of days. Spoke to Mike about upgrading my husband's phone. After settling on the color we asked if Michael could transfer the data from the old phone. He said yes, but would charge us $50 to do it! When we questioned this, he gave us a story about when you buy new tires, they will charge you to put them on. My husband said he hadn't paid to have the tires put on, ever! Well, Michael again said $50. We ordered the phone and was told it would be delivered to the store on Tuesday. Michael was all business. No warmth or inviting personality. Update: 6/5/24 Called on Tuesday and Mike told us it hadnt come in. Waited till Wednesday and check with UPS. They said it was delivered Tuesday morning. Called and spoke to Mike about what UPS said and he said it was delivered 5 minutes ago. That was not true. Went to the store today and unfortunately, Mike was there. He again stated that he required $50 to transfer info from one phone to the other. It can't possibly take that much time. He stated "I should be paid for my time". He was already using his time to sell us the phone and now he wants extra money for his time! Extortion! I told him this was outrages and I didn't like his personality, he shoved the phone at us and said he would no longer assist us. We then told him to cancel the phone and we walked out. The owner of this store lost a sale and our business. I called Verizon. This store is not owned by Verizon. It is privately owned to sell and...
Read moreI went to this store yesterday to seek assistance with an incomplete data transfer between my old phone and a replacement warranty phone. I communicated to the sales associate that I was unable to transfer all my texts, bookmarks, and passwords to the new device. He abruptly told me that there would be a $50 fee for his assistance, and that it'd be unlikely that this data would be transferable as Verizon doesn't support these services. When I expressed that I'd been able to transfer this data prior, I was met with ""Well good for you.". When I asked weather he could just connect the phones with a common cord, he said that was not possible. The more I conversed with him, the more sarcastic and surly he became. When I communicated that I felt he was being very unhelpful, he asked me to leave the store. I was very surprised to learn that this man, Tom, was the Manager. I went to another location and they promptly connected the two phones with a cord and transferred all the data free of charge. In over 22 years of being a Verizon customer, I have never experienced such rude, snarky, and disrespectful behavior as I got from Tom. I'd suggest finding another location to suit your...
Read moreMichael’s condescending behavior today caused me and my husband to leave the store abruptly without the iPhone 15. Resigning myself to paying too much regardless, I asked three separate times what the cheapest option would be overall considering trade-in, our monthly plan, and the dumb promotions they run to make you spend more money. He told me the same thing each time with more condescension, saying that it was a matter of opinion and he couldn’t help me. While I thought the ensuing silence was him coming around and figuring how to explain our pricing options in a more effective way, he was actually staring at his computer waiting for us to tell him what color phone I wanted. Then he had the gall to tell me he wasn’t sure what he’d done to offend me. We also waited for about 10 minutes in a store that had one associate helping one customer, us, and Manager Michael in the back. Save yourself the egomania and...
