I shop at Gordon food once a month for personal home shopping. I find their frozen foods excellent, the service supreme and most helpful. I enjoy their holiday items and the convenience of them for family get-togethers. I find it money saving to buy Dawn dish soap and serving supplies, such as napkins, plates, cups, table coverings, and serving containers at Gordon Food. I am a single person, but for a supply of meat, berries and cheese each month; family dinners, potlucks and neighborhood get-togethers I always shop at Gordon Food for my needs. For cocktail hour at my daughter's wedding we did meat, cheese, crackers, veggies and dip and purchased all of that at this location. Most of the veggies come already slicked and they sliced all of the meat (we bought smaller blocks of cheese that wouldn't fit in their slicer) for free. A newbie there did not take the paper casing off the hard salami. I brought a few slices in to show so it didn't happen to someone else and they refunded me the whole cost of the salami! First let me state, I am not a restaurant but I love GFS. Surprisingly I find they have some of the best Kosher Food options in my location. The Racconto Pasta Sauces are so good compared to what i kind find in other places and the have a great selection of cheeses. So yes I go to GFS just for those items but that doesn't stop me from finding other great finds when i am there. Also the staff is friendly and there is never a line. So don't be afraid to run in there for one...
