Update: I went in yesterday 7/12/25 with 1 tote which had several shirts new with tags, practically brand new size 4youth boots, in great condition sandals, brand new pants with tags and excellent condition dancewear some new with tags and some that cost $40 new by Bloch. They hardly took anything, they took ALL the new with tag clothing (and I only got $17 which is BS) and NONE of the dancewear or shoes. Yet the NOW BUYING sign said Shoes of all kinds đ¤ We were told that location is no longer buying dancewear, which is stupid as it is a hot item for dance Moms looking to save some money and it woukd be nice if your customers were made aware via FB or website about items you've decided to stop accepting especially seems how since that store opened and thru 2 owners they always were needing dancewear as it sold quick! I had high hopes with the 3rd owner but I am quickly seeing the disappointment and the clothing being sold is so outdated and not the best quality even for used. Also I was off put by the employees choice of work clothing, Super short shorts and one even had a tshirt on that was longer then her shorts looking like she climbed out of bed. Nit the best impression! I will stick to going to west side location and Brighton location where they know the value of first impression and have their employees in OUAC shirts and proper length shorts! đđ¤ˇââď¸đââď¸
Response to owner: I don't need to be spoken to like I am 5, thank you though. I also understand the ins and outs of OUAC very well seems how I helped open that store and the items you passed on were brand new, checked with a Black light and several had tags and they were not over 5 years old. Passed on a brand new pair of snow boots and a TON of gently used some brand new with tags dancewear. I stabd by my review and will no longer be buying nor selling to this location. I will gladly visit other locations that follow company policies.
Went in Monday 4/21/25 sold a tote of clothing and was very happy with what they took and felt pricing was fair. I don't have to hold a sale myself and I feel what I got was equal to what I would of charged at a yard sale. It is used items people you will not get 100% or even 50% of what your invested. I'm excited to see how to store goes now and the young ladies working last night were...
Read moreI would not recommend this OUAC location AT ALL. Disappointed to say the least. They gave me $40 for a brand new evenflo Omni stroller (used maybe 5 times) WITH a momcozy attachment thats worth at the least $100 in the condition itâs in. I wouldâve been happy with $60 but $40 is insane and I shouldâve just took it back. They also requested I re-wash the clothing I brought in because there was âa scent they couldnât acceptâ & basically begged me to bring it back in because âthere are sooooo many good choices that we wantâ just for me to go back the NEXT business day with all DIFFERENT employees and get 6 items taken out of 2 full totes!!!! Lady up front goes âIâm just doing my job, I wasnât the one who looked through the stuff,â as this dude also up front who acts as if heâs the owner walks around so proudly telling all these selling customers âIâll tell ya right now we arenât accepting any body suits or pajamas.â I drove 50 minutes 2 days in a row to give these folks the benefit of the doubt and for a whoppin $10. May I also add I had EVERYTHING laid out flat and together so it was organized and easy to look through & they just threw it all back inside in a junk pile!! I will never sell my gently used beautiful items to this store ever again. Stick to the west side, I almost never leave there without making AT LEAST $100. & if yall arenât accepting certain things why isnât the public made aware of that so they donât have to waste their time and for that matter your time too?? It takes 2 seconds to make a public post stating âwe are not accepting such n such at this time!â It seems like the people in there just donât seem motivated to do the job and would rather not look through our bins to the fullest extent. I...
Read moreSellers BEWARE! I visited the store at 10:20 a.m. with a bin containing high-end branded apparel such as Nike, Adidas, Jordan, and The North Face. My collection included various winter and spring jackets, shorts, shirts, joggers, pants, sweatshirts, and hoodies. After waiting for three hours, I returned to inquire about the status of my bin, only to overhear the store owner commenting that I might not be aware of how things âoperate and that I must not understand the importance of taking breaks and having mealsâ. I chose to wait outside the store after hearing this comment. Two additional hours had passed and after a five-hour wait, I was called back at 3:20 pm, following my initial drop-off at 10:20 am. The owner checked me out and informed me that they had taken â45-50â of my items, which I later realized was an understatement (it was MORE). I received $70 for the â50 itemsâ which averages to $1.40 per item. The owner noted my surprised expression and commented that it was actually a good price, considering THEY typically PAY LESS. Feeling obligated due to the long wait and the presence of my children, I agreed to the price. However, I was taken aback while I am physically disabled and injured (my knee was wrapped in a medical brace) the owner told me to retrieve my bin from the back myself by climbing over other customers' bins. Because of the owner and her employees lack of mannerisms towards customers, their poor time management and unfair selling practices/ tactics I will not be supporting this location in the future and will instead donate. I should have read the reviews as others have had similar experiences with...
