I had been a faithful Albertsons and sav-on customer for 28 years . For the past 10 years I have supported Albertsons open golf tournament and have donated hundreds and hundreds of dollars for tickets for underprivileged, handicapped and the Weiser River Trails. I average $800 a month for food for my family and my prescriptions another $400 per month. Now the story. I called to reorder 6 prescriptions. I advised the pharmacy Tech, as I have done many times that it May be a week or longer before I could pick my order up. The pharmacy Tech told me no problem, they have done this for me at least 5 times. I work more than a 100 miles away in different cities. During the next week and a half, I had called the pharmacy 3 times, once to ask them if they would like to transfer my prescriptions to another store where I had been working. The pharmacist told me not to worry she knew me and knew that I would be there to pick them up. I called the day that I got off work and told them I would be in tomorrow or Monday to pick up my prescriptions. Again the pharmacist told me "I know you Steve don't worry they'll be here when you get here". This was December 28th. When I arrived on the 8th they told me my prescriptions had accidentally been re stocked on the shelves and my copayment for my prescriptions should have been $80 but boy was I shocked when she asked me for approximately $1300. She explained that a technician put them back accidentally and refunded the money back to my insurance company. She continued to explain that because we are in a New Year now my insurance deductible has not been met so I must pay full retail price. I tried nicely to work with them for 2 days. My insurance company approved them to re run it back dated prior to the accidental restocking and they refused. After a month has gone by with no offer from Sav- on not even a discount I have decided to take them to court. Check in later for the rest of the story. Would not recommend this pharmacy and now I no longer recommend Albertsons. It may have been Joe Albertsons supermarket, But the cheating department definitely belongs to Meridian Sav-on.. P.S. I DO NOT EVEN PLAY MONOPOLY and donate my piece to other customers to be the best customer I...
Read moreI haven’t been using this pharmacy for long, however, up until yesterday they were so much better than the one I used in Boise for nearly a decade. I believe a new pharmacist is who I unfortunately had to deal with. He has quite the attitude and is incredibly condescending-not to mention would not fill my prescription that I’ve been on for a decade and seemed to be discriminatory towards the actual substance. His reasoning was a “law” that I’ve never heard of, not to mention in the 10 years I’ve been on this have NEVER had this problem before. After I do finally get my prescription I doubt I’ll use this pharmacy for much longer, especially if I have to deal with this again. With these instances it’s certain that I’m not the only one being treated poorly, and it’s unfortunate that so many pharmacists...
Read moreIn my 42 years on this planet I have never dealt with a more unprofessional pharmacy. We had to quit using them with my son due to numerous issues where they simply did not do their job, and had to have my Rx sent to them yesterday since it was the only pharmacy open in my area. First off the information St. Luke's had was incorrect and the pharmacy was not open. Secondly they lied to me today and told me that they had transferred my Rx to my pharmacy of choice when they had not. These blatant lies and unprofessional actions are the reason we stopped using them in the first place. Save yourselves some trouble and use any other pharmacy. Even if it's a two day drive through a treacherous mountain pass it will be more convenient than the pharmacy at Albertson's on Fairview...
