Chico's — Local services in Meridian

Maybe I am just used to Southern hospitality and this is the Northwest...went in to get some chocolate pants for an upcoming vacay - love the fit of the Platinum line. First assistant to greet me was helpful but head associate (manager? asst mgr?) was downright unfriendly - I almost asked if I had done something to unknowingly offend her but decided against it. My Chicos in TX helps me put together outfits; they will call around to 5 different stores to find me what I need; and they are just as friendly when I spend big cash as they are when I return items. I took my wife, my mother and my aunt to shop the store. They had a very good sale going and all three got excellent bargains. The clerk said we could pay for and have shipped to our home an article of clothing that they did not have the right size in stock. We paid for it and got the sale price and will be shipped to our home at no extra charge. I asked how often they had these kind of sales and they said they would notify us of future sales. Wife and I stopped in today to do a little Christmas shopping and the entire staff pitched in to make suggestions, assist with trying on garments in the fitting room, and finding coordinating necklaces, bracelets, etc. We found lots of terrific options. The store seems to offer numerous tops, pants and jackets/sweaters that can be coordinated and interchanged with the different pieces. I was very impressed. Staff was excellent...
