The sales associates, for the most part, are good and nice people. The jeweler is terrible. Never met him, but he obviously doesn’t know what he is doing. I took my ring in to get one of the prongs on the big middle diamond fixed, as it was bent and sharp. I paid the full amount to get it fixed up front and then was told that my ring would take over a month to get fixed because the jeweler was out of town. I patiently waited and it was ready when they said it would be. I was so happy to have it back that I went home right away. An hour or two in to having it back, I noticed that the prong was still not fixed. A little better, but still a problem. I also noticed that one of the prongs on the smaller diamonds had a similar issue too, so I took it back and pointed out both to them. They said it was not correct and that they would send it back to him, but I would have to wait another month. Frustrating, but I wanted to get it done right. I went in last week to pick it up. Guess what? It STILL wasn’t fixed. They were very nice to me about it and got on the phone with the jeweler and they even put it on rush for me because I had been waiting so long. Well, I went to get it a couple days ago. Things on the big diamond looked good, at last. I examined it all very carefully this time. I noticed the small prong I had been worried about looked a little off still, so I mentioned it to the sales associate. He said it looked fine to him and I said, “well, I just don’t want another issue, so thought I’d ask. You’re the experts so if you say it looks fine, then I must be good to go.” In hind sight, I should have insisted that it wasn’t ok. I think I was just desperate to agree with him and accept it was all ok since I just wanted my ring back! Well, after wearing the ring for a couple days, I can tell you that the small prong is most DEFINITELY not ok! It is totally bent wrong, it is a little sharp, and it’s a problem. I am so annoyed and upset. I don’t know if I even want to go back to them to have them get it right because the jeweler OBVIOUSLY either doesn’t care that he isn’t doing it right, or he doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing and is just incompetent. At this point I’m considering taking it ANYWHERE else, but I also think they should fix what they said they would fix. If I do go back for this fix, I’m never going back again after, and never recommending them to anyone. I’ll update my review if anything changes for the better. 9/16/24 *update* It got worse. I took my ring to the Nampa store because that is where the goldsmith is located. In short, he broke the tip of the prong on the big diamond completely off. They are sending it out to someone else to have it fixed with a laser. I’m reconsidering though. I don’t think I want their help anymore. I want my money back, plus compensation for the price I’ll pay to have someone else fix the damage. Update 10/1 Finally got my ring back! JD&Co is where they sent it to and it looks beautiful! Finally fixed correctly! Still an incompetent goldsmith. He never was able to fix a simple issue of prongs, and now I have proof that it was nothing too hard and I wasn’t asking for too much. (I didn’t take pics of the original middle diamond prong. First two pics are of the small diamond prong. Next two are pictures taken by the jewelry store that don’t illustrate as clearly the issue, but it’s there. Last three are of the ring fixed properly.) Lastly, if you ever want to speak to the goldsmith himself directly, expect that they will side step you. I voiced twice that I wanted to speak to him, only to be sidestepped, and later stated how I would like an apology from him, and was sidestepped again. When I asked the store manager why I was never allowed to speak to the goldsmith, I was told QUOTE “Oh I don’t know why that happened. We always allow customers to speak to him.” Dude, YOU are one of the people who sidestepped me, and you’re doing it again right now! I don’t know what they have to hide, but it’s strange to me that they won’t allow me to talk to the goldsmith myself.

But when I picked it up, it looked awful. The diamond looked minuscule. My husband and I seriously wondered if they had swapped it for a smaller stone. It was also mounted crooked, so it looked horrible. We took it back and Brae helped us. Not only did we decide to put a new halo around the center stone but we also got a new camouflage and titanium wedding ring for my husband. I just picked up my redone ring and Isaiah and Brae were there. The new halo looks fantastic. They kept me informed throughout the process and were so excited for me. I highly recommend the Meridian Village team!

Not only was she extremely knowledgeable in helping us find what we preferred, in our price range, but she was also extremely patient and pleasant throughout the entire process. We found the perfect ring for the perfect price. Isneida helped us find EXACTLY what we wanted and presented us options to customize it down to the most finite detail. Overall a wonderful experience, I will definitely be getting my ring here, and recommending it to anyone who asks!

My girlfriend and I went into the store looking for an engagement ring and was helped by Isneida in picking out our ideal ring. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY REASON.

EDIT: I will leave my original review at the bottom to show how drastically different my opinion is of this place is as of now. Going on 8-9 months since I placed my order for my ring. I STILL do not have it. It has been sent back FOUR times now because the channeling was so destroyed and warped when I first got it and the quote was filled with typos and grammatical errors. Every time is gets sent back it takes two months and every time I go to pick it up ITS STILL WRONG. It can’t possibly be that hard to spell things correctly, but apparently it is… At the point the ring has been ground down and changed so much that it looks NOTHING like the original ring I ordered. Also, the gems have been so shamelessly replaced with terrible versions of what they were suppose to be. They literally removed the gems I originally chose at some point and replaced them with cheap, terrible imitations without telling me. 8 months and I still do not have my ring. I have been refused a refund even though they have acknowledged and agreed that the ring is not what I ordered. I will be seeking legal action if I do not have my money returned to me very soon.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted something very unique and definitely custom. Isaiah spent months helping me create exactly what was in my head.

A few days before I was ready to submit the order Isaiah found an issue with the design that I never would have known until it was far too late… instead of concealing the issue from me until after it was purchased he sent me a ton of info on it and told me all my options right up front. Nothing was hidden. Nothing was a surprise.

Everyone in the building went out of their way every time I was there to accommodate myself and my daughter.

I’ve been married 10 years and never had a wedding ring because I didn’t like that jewelers seemed to be like used car sales men. NOT HERE. Isaiah never pressured me to spend more. Never Maude me feel like I was waiting his time.. always made time for me when I dropped in...

My experience with this store has been nothing but amazing. The entire staff is wonderful but I have to mention two extremely kind hearted women who took time to listen from begin to end. Kahlyn is by far the most professional hands on associate that I have ever come in contact with. She made sure to handle everything within her power and anything that was beyond her she kept up on and made sure she was up to date on the status. Dawn went to bat for me in getting my ring back to its original beauty, she was in contact with corporate to make sure the level of seriousness was understood. both of these women listened to the troubles I have had and experience I was facing with the Nampa store. It is a very long winded story but the bottom line is.. They took a situation that was not good by any means and completely reconciled and took care of it first hand. My ring is back to its designed original beauty and I am so grateful they made this whole situation right again. I cannot thank...
