Theory Merrimack Outlet — Local services in Merrimack

I love Theory clothes! I’ve never been to an outlet before, so was excited to find one. The women working in the store on Sept 9th made for a terrible experience. I felt very uncomfortable shopping in the store. She followed me around and re-folded every single item of clothing I touched before I was even one step away!

I proceeded to ignore her because I wanted to try clothes on that I liked. I tried on a dress and was talking to the person I was with about what I liked and didn’t like and the employee added herself to the conversation in a very unfriendly way. I told her what I didn’t like about the dress and she said she’s never heard that from a customer before and proceeded to tell me she didn’t understand what I was complaining about. The material was thin so you could see my legs through the dress, which isn’t my style, but she continued to say she didn’t understand what my complaint was about. She distorted her face to look like she was disgusted and when I told her it just wasn’t my style, she huffed, rolled her eyes and walked away.

Because of this negative experience, I didn’t buy one item of clothing. I refused to give them any business, but I will continue to shop at other...

Purchased a couple items today. Compared to other stores we weren’t greeted or offered any assistance while shopping around. The experience that compelled me to give a one star was the employee bent over the cash register on his iPad…not giving any room for me to check for sizes on the rack that he was blocking.

He was completely oblivious. When I asked to walk around him he didn’t say a word. Moved and then continued on his iPad.

I was not dropping thousands but for the five or so minutes and a few hundred dollars later I found that it was rude. Probably why there was only one other group in there.
