Hi Jolly has a huge variety of everything "souvenir". It doesn't look like much when you walk in, but just keep going. Lots of stuff piled on display racks very close together. You could spend hours in here, as we have. Whenever company calls (and those northerners do seem to call in the winter), we head to Hi Jolly for souvenirs. Large items and food products in the adjoining room.
Waldo's Barbecue - next door - is a nice spot for good food. The barbecue sauce comes on the side, so your smoked meat can be seasoned to your taste. Delicious! Unlimited sides (go for the cowboy beans) and cornbread. Beer selection could be better, but most can find...

They have all sorts of gifts if you are traveling and want to avoid the expensive souvenirs at the airport (I think this store has a lot more variety than the airport gift shops, and can't beat the prices). My only peeve is the customer service. When I was ready to checkout it felt like I was bothering the ladies at the register, and every question I would make made it worse (I even heard a heavy sigh). I think I am a pretty easy customer (see any of my other reviews) so this is almost hard for me to complain about customer service. Signs, clothing, toys and dolls and gifts, sauces and candies, statues ranging from a few inches to several feet high in everything from plaster of Paris to glassware to Copper. But what I liked best was the service. I never felt like I was imposing, I was encouraged to ask questions and was given helpful tips on where different things might work and how to maintain their appearance.
