We had an amazing time. We went for the beginners Blacksmithing class. Noah was amazing and was very knowledgeable. He really took his time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. The class was packed but we felt safe at all times and he made it safety first but had fun.

Apparently they offer many classes and we will def be back to make a knife in the advanced blacksmith class. We lucked out and found this location on Groupon but I would definitely say to contact them directly because there could be better deals.

The location itself is awesome because it is off university in Mesa with plenty of food places around. The parking lot is not the biggest but ppl in our class made sure we could navigate through the parking lot.

Don't forget to wear pants for safety. All other safety gear is issued. Make sure to bring water as the class will be outside. It is a shaded area but it does get...

We wanted to do something more than the average date of dinner and movies. This was a relaxing and memorable date. We gained experience and made memories together. I wish we could have made it our own a bit more towards the end. The instructor was professional and very elaborate and knowledgeable. Our goal was a small Kiridashi knife. Which is basically an exacto knife. I can't do much with it, honestly. We had some extra time, and I would have liked to have the option to do some cleaning up to it more on the belt. Overall, we both would love to come back for the 4 hour class. Wish they had a Groupon for that! Thank you, The Collaboratory. Also we got the Groupon for this class. It was $170 for 2...

I took the 2-hour blacksmith class at The Collaboratory and absolutely loved it! The instructors were incredibly friendly and informative, making the whole experience fun and easy to follow. They provided all the PPE — safety glasses, apron, gloves, and hearing protection — and kept everything very organized.

What stood out most was how attentive they were. They stopped to help anytime someone needed it and answered every question with patience and enthusiasm. It’s perfect for beginners, and I’m already planning to take the 4-hour class next.

Highly recommend this experience for anyone — male or female — looking to try something new, learn a cool skill, or even do a unique...
